Brian F. Team has the best ambiance,Koefficient has me cracking up. First Round Robin Koefficient went "Coach,pretend you have to pay rent tomorrow, come on Coach we need to pay rent !" He said that during a coach match and I couldn’t stop laughing. Brian was going through it with the demons in his ears. This time around I was impressed with Brian, almost won against JB and Nephew,beat Shine,Diaphone and Automattock. It was a solid reminder he can play ball in this court and I’m all here for it, he definitely had a better footing this around and made it a lot closer than first Round Robin. Team Shine going crazy with their Win streak… dear god. Victoria looking solid on that ED. Doki is a monster and the match that impressed me the most was Doki vs Serotina (not on stream) I didn’t think I’d get to see Doki play really patient neutral. Favourite stream match now that I have the insider knowledge of Brawlpro learning the match up on the fly,that JP vs BrawlPro was insane !

Victoria's practice really shows here, which is incredible considering she was panicking a lot during her streams xD Team Shine's chemistry is great, and they get bonus points for me considering their coach was gone most of their 12-0 win streak. I cannot imagine how tilted PhiDX must have been after some Noita streamer threw fireballs at him for like 30 seconds straight while he had level 3 charged, then the first time he reacts with level 3 it's a feint fireball and the level 3 gets blocked. Incredible. Coming back and taking round 3 right after is what makes PhiDX a pro, though. The three way tie was insane. @@kye4216 As I said, haven't played SF6 so not sure what it means. From the context I presume it stands for SPecial D(something), and normally needs a mortal kombat combo of buttons to do? Like back, forward, kick, punch, but with modern controls you can do it with a single button? I can see how that'd be convenient. Is that what the C and M mean at the top? M for modern. C for... classic, I think was the term people used? Why ever play classic if modern is superior? Is there some advantage to it?
@Kujou9100
14 күн бұрын
I'd say that's about it, at least for those points. Grapplers are typically the worst characters in their respective game because they have very few options, much less options that will allow them to be flexible in their approach- and not being flexible means that you are predictable which is one of the worst things to be in a fighting game. The caveat is of course is that their option, the grab, almost always vastly outweighs any other character's performance- with one move they can turn the tide of a match and start a spiral of damage off poor guesses on oki. This does make it more simple and approachable for new players, especially ones who haven't played fighting games, because options make them overthink or confused on when and where to do anything. Grappler gameplay is very direct, all you need is to get close and grab. The trade off is typically that the strong grabs are locked behind more major commands like half circles and even 360s which can both be difficult for new players to consistently execute while in a match, buffering off block or otherwise is a definite skill. And now here comes modern controls that lets anyone and their dog press the damage button whenever they want and get results that typically take at least some number of hours reaching into the double digits.
