Same issues I had with Amazon with my last order arrived a week past the delivery date and item looked like it fell down a elevator shaft

return window for changing your mind and a defective item are two different things, they should definitely have refunded you

Great content. I recently added postcards to my store. I sell clothing primarily and have been thinking about opening a second store for postcards and other ephemera. Would you suggest a second store to target those specific buyers?

Is "dinning room" a thing? I have seen it spelled that way many, many times.

I also have. My 5 minutes of Google searching suggests that it’s just an extremely common misspelling.

Amazon is trash. I refuse to buy anything from that website. Ebay is numero uno by far.

That person who jumped to conclusions without really looking at that postcard may have had a disappointing experience of receiving reproductions and were a little raw! I say this as someone who just this last week thought I had bought two interesting RPPCs here in Australia, one was of a group of rabbit shooters. The envelope arrived...and inside were two poor quality prints or scans. I then checked the feedback on that sellers store, and it was full of people saying they had been scammed in the same way I had been, and they were always unable to get a response or a refund from him. On looking closer at his listings, I now see how devious he is - all his postcards have a watermark of 'photo' across them several times...so technically he is within Ebays terms and conditions I expect, as that is what he is selling.

Yeah I definitely blame the image scalpers on eBay more than this buyer. Who can blame them for being confused when there are so many scammers that list in the postcard category! They seriously need to be banned from eBay.

That is why I always look at the feedback prior to buying, IF there is a lot of bad feedback or neutral even, I walk away. I always check to make sure the BUYER is not an idiot, and you can usually tell that as well. haha.

@@stevenjames3242 Haha..yeah, i learnt my lesson. I had no idea about the image scalpers. Ive only just started to delve in to postcards here in Australia. Its not quite the same market as the US but I've had quite a few sales...plus listing them every day helps the ebay algorithm for my other items which are mostly higher value books. I love the history that postcards capture and re-present. In Australia, postcards are hard to source..even the anitque booth type malls mostly do not have any. I've just paid for a 'Wanted to Buy' ad in the local regional country paper to see if I can find some gems. Cant wait to see what turns up...maybe a REAL photo post card of rabbit hunters!
