Ingredients:
2 salmon fillet
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika powder
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 lbs asparagus
This is the easiest yet flavorful salmon dinner recipe for beginners. Make your own salmon rub or use a store bought mixture of spices. Most often , I use this (listed above) dry marinade for my salmon and I highly recommend it. If you have a lemon and pepper dry seasoning, you can add it into the mixture too. Or just squeeze a fresh lemon into your salmon. I consider this a One Pan dinner. Toss those asparagus on the same pan so it will absorb all the dry seasoning you had with your salmon. Cook your asparagus longer if you prefer them to shrink and softens. I prefer mine nice and crunchy, not chewy so 5-8 minutes on the pan on medium high heat should be enough to cook them. They already absorbed all the spices from the salmon dry marinade, but you can season them with more salt and pepper to suit your taste.
Serve it on top of brown rice and away you go!
