It’s hell. I won’t touch that place for springers. Way too crazy. I gave it up there years ago. Fall kings there is nowhere near as crowded and the whole area is used. Not just the toilet bowl. 4 out of the last 5 years we limit in the first 2 hours. Other than our yearly fall king trip we stay clear of Drano

I'm a local that's fished there for 25 yrs and yes there's been fights and wild shenanigans. That may be toning down these days (I hope). Creating a boundary line so the guys on the bank have room has helped. Most fights in the past were between bank and boats. Boat guys stealing bank fisherman's wiggle warts when lines get tangled, slashed tires you name it... At one point the cops said if they get called again they'd arrest both parties. One time a guy was standing on the bridge with a boulder the size of a basketball ready to drop it on the boat that stole his wiggle wart. We talked him down...

It was so awesome to watch you guys catch those amazing fish out of the river! I was floored to see that many boats in such a small area LOL! And the reason I’m commenting again is because the aerial footage from the drone of the boat moving around in circles from above was pretty legit! Awesome filming!🤘🏼🐟😃

Special fish. Jordan also recognizes that unique smell that only Springers have. To me it smells like Honeydew, sweet fish, and some kind of a flower. Love me some quality days like this, even when it's in video form, feels like I'm there with you all sometimes! I actually had no idea that Springers entailed adults running up to the spawn areas in the spring 🙃 I had always wondered how they went from eggs to adult size so damn fast 🤣 But I guess now I know at almost 30. Ah, I guess we gotta learn sometime, eh? I do know though not all salmon make the spawn runs after their first year of life, and sometimes end up hanging out in the ocean for a few years prior to deciding to begrudgingly swim back. Was fishing fall run out of Otis 9 years ago, and the guy I was with caught a stalky 40lb Chinook Buck that had stayed out for 3-4 years. They get a very particular coloration and look to them when they hung out at sea for that long that is a clear indicator of it. I find it very interesting.
