Recipe for: Savory cake - Festive salad
NECESSARY PRODUCTS:
Potatoes - 1.2 kg. (boiled and grated).
Mayonnaise - 200 gr.
Carrots - 6-7 pcs. (boiled and grated).
Ham - 300 g (cut into thin strips).
Pickled cucumbers - 250 g (finely chopped).
Squeezed milk - 350 g.
Corn - 200 g (canned).
Peas - 200 g (from a can).
Eggs - 6 pcs. (boiled and grated).
Salt
Pepper
Green onion - 1 bunch (finely chopped).
Parsley- 1 bunch (finely chopped).
Garlic- 3 cloves (finely chopped).
Olives - 50 g.
Salami - 100 g. (slice, if possible choose salami with a wider diameter, I used salami breakfast).
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
Start first with the potato salad (potatoes with mayonnaise). Add salt and pepper to taste to the boiled and grated potatoes. Add the mayonnaise and stir to combine well. Set the finished potato salad aside.
For the milk salad, add squeezed milk, finely chopped garlic and salt to taste to the chopped pickles. Mix and leave the finished salad to one side.
Begin to arrange the salt cake by taking only the wall from a springform pan and placing it on a large plate or platter (My pan is 28 cm, if you use a smaller one you must reduce the products accordingly). Make the first row of half the potato salad and continue to arrange in the following order: green onions, carrots (leave some for decoration), ham, milk salad, peas and corn, the remaining potato salad, boiled and grated eggs. Carefully press all rows.
Decorate the savory cake to your liking. Refrigerate the cake for a few hours before removing the cake and serving it to your family and friends.
