By the way, back in black has always been a serious challenge for Brian since mid 90x and today he definitely cannot sign it properly (come on, the man is 75, what do you expect?), but it is clear that he started without warming up his throat, otherwise it would be better. The second one sounds much better, and the longer he sings the better it gets. So it was not quite fair from Sam to bring the old dude on stage without warm up)
@lucasbrown4186

I definitely agree. A few exercises and I think he should be good for some more shows. But hearing people complain about him not sounding like he did in the 80s always baffles me. Like you said, a lot of songs off the back in black album were a challenge since even the early 90s. But he’s definitely continued sounding great and distinctive

It'd be extremely hard to sing anything from AC/DC, let alone in your mid 70s. Most of this is probably age related, and I think it's still pretty decent given how hard it is to sing Back In Black, and also Brian's age

When Brian Johnson said "dream come true." He wasnt lying. Newcastle counsel knocked it on the head when he tried to play with Geordie in the 70s. And he tried for years to get St James Park to have AC/DC at the ground. So for him to finally make it to St James Park after half a century of trying is some story for him.
