Brother Ravi Kumar, Amey Deshpande, and Siddhartha Raju are not just accomplished singers but embodiments of Sai's teachings. Their lives and music reflect the grace and blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, serving as beacons of inspiration for devotees and music lovers alike.
Brother Ravi Kumar joined the Sri Sathya Sai School in Ooty in the year 1978 as a 7 year old and went on pursue his B.Com and MBA in Swami's Institute. In 1992 he was chosen by Bhagawan for the All-rounder Gold Medal. Swami blessed him to join the Super Specialty Hospital at Puttaparthi in 1993, where he continues to serve till date. Right from his first day at school when Bhagawan chose him to sing in His Divine presence, Ravi Kumar has been blessed to render songs & bhajans in the direct Divine presence for the past 38 years. He is an integral part of the Prashanti Mandir Bhajan group and considers the voice bestowed on him as a gift from his Beloved Swami and considers it an opportunity of lifetimes to offer it back to him
Brother Amey Deshpande hails from Maharashtra and was a student of the Primary School at Prashanti Nilayam from 1989 to 1993. After completing his B.Com and CA courses, He enrolled for the MBA (Finance) course at the Institute in 2003. Thereafter, at Bhagawan's behest he registered for the MPhil programme in 2006 and was awarded the Gold medal for distinction in 2007. Currently he is concluding his doctoral research in the Dept. for Management studies. Amey has been a part of the Prashanti Mandir Bhajan group since 2003 and has performed in many musical programs and dramas in the Divine presence. He is an accomplished actor, good orator and a percussionist.
Brother Siddhartha Raju hails from Chennai. After completing his bachelors in English Literature, he joined Swami's institute for MBA in 2006. Thereafter, as per Swami's instructions he completed his MA in English from the Loyola College, Chennai, and joined as Lecturer in the Dept. of English at Prasanthi Nilayam campus of SSSIHL in 2011. Currently he is pursuing his doctoral research in English. He is an integral part of the Prashanti Mandir Bhajan group and also was a part of the Sundaram Bhajan group and had the privilege of performing in front of Swami. He is an excellent actor and speaker as well. Sai Bhajans are his first love that brought him to his beloved Swami and keeps him connected to Him.
