0:29 That is the slickest check I've ever seen someone make, especially after flopping the stone cold nuts.

No way he could lose the hand, Why not just call on turn, then let Sammy go broke on river, then why bet 250k on river? Bet 25,000 and Farha has to call

Because he is putting Sammy on a flush. He thinks he’s getting the money in as fast as possible before board pairs. But after his raise and Sammy demeanor chnage, he realized he didn’t have a flush.

@@Nosirt nah I agree with the first comment, call wouldve been better, he would've gotten him to pay him off on the river, even better is he acted really well before he raised looking like he didn't have the best hand, plus on the river he could've even put in a min raise just so Sammy had to call him

@@patrickmacasaet3493 I’m not blind. Obviously a call would be better because I can see the cards too. I’m not talking about what would be best way to play this against a set, I’m starting to analyses what Ben was trying to do.

Call may have also worked but we saw the river and Sammy still wouldn't have liked the 3 clubs or straight still possible. Least this way Sammy calls David's raise. If board pairs David gets it all either way ( especially if the last 2 😂)

Lol these old videos are entertaining but you certainly can tell they played suboptimal back then, I mean what's even the point in acting weak and then BOOM 3 bet the turn, I mean at that point you just know they had a monster

If he bet $25K on the river, Sammy might have called that, but $250K? The only bad wager on David's part. If Sammy did have a boat or an Ace high flush, he would get a raise on a $25K bet, and a set or straight might get a call on a $25K wager.

25k is way to small the pot had 250k in it already. I would have liked something like 125-150k

The perfect bet there, to me, is 75k. It's JUST ENOUGH to maybe get sammy to think about calling. Sammy is always folding for higher amounts, and he's clearly not getting any value from lower amounts. Sammy is/was enough of a gambler to call that 75k just to see.

LOL? What do you think Esfandiari's UTG range is? His actual hand is likely the very bottom of it. He'd be building a multiway with a hand that isn't suited and is dominated by UTG's range.

very easy looking at the card dumbass, he is targeting other flushes to get called by obviously, Farha is not suppossed to even have sets raising the turn, he is suppossed to have either a bluff with the nut flush draw or a flush so the most plus EV move is actually to go all in there.
@kanelives2895

LOL? Farha beats nothing from that Turn 3 bet range. I doubt Benyamine had the reputation of a guy who bluffed 24x7 with a naked Nut flush blocker.
