It was an exercise between Todd Edwards and DP in blending their musical styles. Todd samples a ton of records in a song, (listen to at least some of his singles, they’re worth your time, please) and DP also samples and tribute’d his style on High Fidelity off their first record. They went sifting through their record collections for things that they thought would mesh well together and even looking for corresponding names; “Evil Woman” from ELO’s FACE the music, “Tell Me to My FACE” by Tim Weisenberg etc. It’s a presentation of their chemistry as musical artists. Todd Edwards even sings on the track, Face to Face.
