This is my first purchase on a Samsung galaxy A03s Cell phone. I never had a android or smartphone before. I was a nervous wreck when I made a first purchase. I just got it on June 6 2022. I could not sleep for Two Days. Lol I am grateful I found your video. My stresses are now gone.

I've always had Android but when I got this a year ago. I thought it would be better as it was quite expensive, it's horrible. It won't connect to alot of my bluetooth devices after there's an update. Very frustrating. Never again will I get another Samsung after this.

@@egutz3282 previous phones like Samsung s4 and s7, which I had, or s8 were better. Camera was better; had Samsung Health App, s4 h ad a thermometer, which was very useful. Messages app could play voice messages and videos full screen and save them - not A03. The volume and power buttonswere on opposites sides, which made it easier to use than A03. (Still better than iPhones - way too many hidden maneuvers, and icons which I don't know what they represent. ) This phone still has a earphone jack which is useful if you don't want to use Bluetooth. Also this phone rates low on radiation output compared to the new s20/22. A03 version is the bare minimum. Simple and

Excellent video. I just bought my first cell phone in 15 years, so everything is new. This is the most complete tutorial I've seen; geared to total newbies like me. Very thorough and well paced. Thank you for taking the time to create this content. One question: Is there a way to have the screen stay on longer? It goes dark so fast when I don't touch it; plus I have to swipe to open it again and I have to swipe it many times before it opens; maybe it's the phone or just me. Again, great video.

Thanks. I'm an older beginner, migrating from flipphones. And it wasn't until the "how to make the text bigger" section that I found what I really needed -- how to extend my (new phone's) "screen timeout". My phone would keep going dark as I was trying to do things. But once I reset the "screen timeout" to 2 minutes, I had the time to watch what you were saying and to then look at my phone itself. Consider putting "how to extend you screen time" as an early part of the presentation.

Bought my 75/76 yr old aunt and uncle this phone as their first cell phone....as they were finally receptive to get a phone. They wanted flip phone but I thought important to have maps, calendar, etc in case they needed it. I have this phone (niece)...so figured I could help if they needed. But sooo glad you have this video. They aren't even used to using touch screens...so I will probably get them a thing to touch the screen with. (Which the name has escaped me). Have you made a video of how to hide all the other apps that they don't want to use nor see...? (Makes them get confused easily...seeing too many things).

Absolutely brilliant - so helpful - thank you so much! Just one question - I wonder if there is an app that you can get (or some other way) which shows that you have received a text message (or phone call) whilst the phone is in sleep mode (i.e. the screen is black). My ancient basic Doro phone had a little flashing LED to show that that someone had sent me a text without me having to open the phone to check. This would be very useful if you're only using the phone occasionally and don't want to keep waking it up for no reason. Once again, many thanks.

Awesome job on video and clear screen pictures. I just purchased a new phone from Walmart with no help whatsoever from the electronics people. When I tried to plug it into my car I was extremely frustrated as there was nothing to tell me that the new C cable would require an adaptable new compatible cable for use in my 2020 Honda. Also no directions on how to even power on the phone. I previously had a Samsung Galaxy crown J7 which stopped without warning.

I didn't, but in short: (1) Go to the phone app (2) Dial your cellphone nunber (this will take you to the voicemail menu) (3) I believe the last 4 numbers of your phone is the default pin/pass code (if that doesn't work, hang up and dial 611 to be connected to customer service. They can assist in helping you get your pass code to access your voicemail box) Hope that was helpful

No chapter marks, no basics, like how to set up the home screen. Still looking to 'eliminate' those horrid Samsung/Android backgrounds to go to a Plain Solid Color , with a Clock display instead of the default weather (only managed to eliminate that so far) Why? With most backgrounds (sorry, Themes) I cannot see the top bar where my power percentage is displayed, as well as other settings.
