really good review, thanks man so far the only one that actually compares based on data/experience. Cheers! A few constructive criticisms: The volume was SUPER low compared to the rest of youtube. The next video deafened me, because I forgot to change the settings back :) I played your video at 1.75 speed. It was very slow otherwise.m The talking speed as well as the setup times. I will base my buying decision off of a lot of the info I found in here! Thanks again!

Nice video! How would you describe the stability of the feet? We want to place the TV on a sideboard with wheels to move it around. Do you think that’s possible or are the arguably small feet to unstable so that the TV might fall down? Thanks!
@SamsungSupportGenius

I think it depends on the size. The feet are stable but at 75" plus they can get a little wobbly. I personally would feel confidant with the 65 and small in that scenario.

There are marginal gains. If the $$ was the same the 2024 does have a slight advantage. I think for most people the few hundred you will save with the older model is probably the way to go.

It's tough to compare the picture quality if the frame to other tvs because of the matte finish... i think you'll get better colors and an overall better picture but it may look "softer", not as bright and dynamic as some of the TVs will glossy panels. Overall it's a step up in my opinion.

Hey! Thank you very much for your detailed explanations. Very helpful. I was thinking of buying a 2023 series, but many people have reported experiencing clouding issues and mentioned that there is no solution. Do you have any thoughts on this?
@SamsungSupportGenius
Ай бұрын
I haven't come across the clouding issue personally - my tvs or the installers I work with. Im not saying it cant happen but I think it's not likely.... my thoughts in the Frame (overall) => I think it's a great tv to blend into your decor. Living room/Front room/ Dining room, anywhere it's important to not have tv as the focus of the room... but it's never going to have A+ picture quality. I'm an audio guy when it comes to home theater so it's fine with me but you are going to have to compromise. Is it OLED and the fabulous picture or Frame and the great aesthetics, I think either choice is a good one.

@@SamsungSupportGenius Hey! Being an audio guy, is it easy to connect the tv to a soundbar, etc?
@SamsungSupportGenius
Ай бұрын
@@jatingarg9175 it's very easy. The TV has ARC or Optical for audio. One thing to think about on that front with the Frame specifically... because all of the audio ports are on the One Connect Box if you have a soundbar it also would connect to the One Connect Box. If you have the box close to the TV there are no issues but if the box is in a cabinet or rack far from the TV it would make connecting a soundbar a little tricky.

No... $$$ difference per year would be very small. I would guess less than $5 per year. TVs in general use very little energy. I think at 5 hours per day watching, the average energy cost is around $30 per year.

Could you teach the proper way to clean this type of screen (finger stain for example)? I saw a video of someone cleaning it with a magic sponge, but I'm not sure it's the best option.
@SamsungSupportGenius

Yes! I was confused when I first saw that too! Samsung themselves literally recommend the magic eraser type product for cleaning the Frame TV. I actually had to call and ask a few friends at Samsung and they confirmed. If it's just fingerprints I would just use a cleaning cloth (little to no warter, dry), similar to what you would clean a phone or tablet with.

@@IanHale-en5dd from what I can tell, no. The IP prorocol lists 2024 models differently than older versions which makes me think they will not update older models.
