I’m buying the TV because: A) the 3rd gen QD panel tech has the brightest color production B) The panel at 3/8” thick is super thin and I have to mount this on the wall flush to adjacent thin mirrors. LG W-OLED is quite a bit thicker. C) Samsung supports Spectrum’s streaming TV app natively and I don’t want to have to deal with an Apple TV or Roku box-whereas LG doesn’t support this. Im not sure whether I will like or dislike the anti-glare coating. I have a massively bright (sun-filled) room where reflections matter a lot, but I in general don’t love matte screens, so I wish they offered a choice or option on this, but it isn’t clear to me which I would prefer anyway… and this is *AFTER* seeing it in person in a showroom. The s95d tvs were being displayed on top of last years s90c and the s90c was blowing the new tvs out the water when it came to color volume and brightness. The new s95d picture looked dull and washed out compared to the s90c. In each store I asked why would Samsung display their new tvs duller than thes90c, and they all replied the same: that’s how the Samsung rep wanted it because it’s more lifelike. Bizarre.
