Have our first ever front loader..Sam Sung brand as everything else in our home. It had a rattle that drove me nuts..it was only the metal side, bottom metal panels vibrating.Instead of exchange with LOWES I was able to apply a self stick PLASTIC roofing product (i worked with store manager and was given at no cost) to the interior metal panels..the Washer is 100% improved..100% satisfied with how it works/washes clothes and can't be heard 10 feet away! LONG LIVE THE DIY'S !! (PRE INSTALLED BASES

From the video, the most noise and vibration occurred at the very beginning of the spin cycle. The VRT function then immediately kicked in to balance the load and you could immediately see and hear the vibration settling down. It seems the vibration reduction function is working as designed.

I live in the UK and all our washers are front loaders. Ours don't vibrate at all but can be noisy at high spin (mine is 1600rpm) especially when the spin is out-of-balance, this is just down to the type of suspension used. The machines in the UK also have space inside for the drum to move around in so it doesn't move the casket at all. I much prefer front loaders as they clean very well, use less electricity and water, and are more gentle on the fabric. I've seen videos on here of problemati

Keep in mind your washer has a 1300 RPM spin speed. At that high of a spin speed there is going to be vibration, that is normal. ConceptVBS hit it right on the nail when he said Vibration Reduction, not elimination. I was actually impressed by the little amount of vibration you are getting at that high of a spin speed. You bought one of the best washers made. You are unhappy because your expectations are unrealistic. Dishwashers are quiet, clothes washers are not.

TO CLEAR my last post..washer had pre installed base...I found that majority of noise from no sound proofing to all or parts of metal panels..and or metal to metal rubbing on assorted sections of the entire washer. I also applied a seam of Elmers "ULTIMATE glue and allowed to seep into seams on areas of vibration. seems like a lot of work..but took only a short time via rear panels. For sure this has to be the best ft loader on the market...WF209..has the ball/oil tech VRT Had Ken/tops 40 yrs!

Have you aligned the 4 corners , where it stands on the ground ? You have to do that very well , I think you just turn the stands. That might help

Don't go by the bubble. The floor itself could be off balanced. Just rotate the legs until it has directly contact to the floor. This will prevent the vibrations. All 4 legs needs to be touching the floor.

Did you solve your problems? Reason I ask is I just bought a WF331AN and had some learning issues with the high spin/size and weight of load. After doing some digging I even found a youtube video by Samsung that explains certain spin speeds should be matched with types of loads. Smaller, heavier loads need the lower spin speeds. Once I learned this I haven't had any issues with the spin cycles completing. Why this information isn't in the actual instruction manual I have no idea!

It sounds almost like you have these on a pedestal, but you didn't show that part of the picture. If you do, you definitely need to rebalance them. Of course, any washer/dryer is going to make some noise and have some vibration. These are very good units.

Did you make sure the shipping bolts were removed from the back of the washer? Samsung has a video about that on here.

may could be the ball cage around the drum.I mean, the function of ball cage is to balance the load (counterweight) if there is nothing to balance, there will be no counterweight to balance and the balls are kept in one side(together) sorry is hard to explain.

Those are normal vibrations....i have many washing machines...and even if the are all leveled up, they vibrate a little bit. The new washing machines era not comparable to the old ones: the new have a much bigger drum, spin faster...much faster....and a little bit of vibrations will not kill the machine that has been projected even for that...I like Samsung a lot...like LG or Hoover....

What about if they're stacked? Would the weight of the dryer on top reduce the need to reinforce the floor?

All I can say is it doesn't appear your Samsung is vibrating any worse than my Electrolux Wave-Touch. I installed my Electrolux on the first floor over a crawl space. Most loads have minimal vibration, except during spin up and spin down. Some bulky loads will vibrate some throughout. My previous top-loader had more vibration. If the vibration really bothers you maybe you should consider the VIP vibration isolation platform. I don't have it. Costs $200.

I'm laughing as I watch this, because it appears that your intent is to show that the unit is not perfectly steady and balanced as it spins. This is positively Rock of Gibraltar solid compared to my 2-3 year old Whirlpool Duet. That thing dances all over the place. I'd be thrilled with this kind of performance.
