I remember him as a stand-out from last year's nationals, for his moves and personality. Looking forward to seeing him progress.

Samuel is so cute. Love the music, the program. He skates well, love the brief detail of Samuel standing on one heel during a spin. Glad to see him in competition. Good luck, Samuel.

Men’s skating in general is moving forwards technically and artistically …. This was so entertaining ❤

Wow! Ok, this short program is a prime example of how to maximize your points on the non-jump elements. First, I think the pacing of the music is perfect for the skater to check off each element and that each element goes perfect with the music. The music is Indian inspired so his outfit his some Indian details. I think he should get rid of the gloves because he does so many cool arm and hand movements. Maybe add some of gold wristbands with the same details that are in his shirt. I love the backward entry of his camel spin then popping up onto the heel for a second- that goes perfectly to the music. And then he comes out in a non-conventional way- on a forward outside edge to an outside rocker. SO COOL! Good job Sam! And also props to Nani and Mari, his coaches.

I guess Samuel likes to be a worrier of some sort on ice which suits him really well. Very much enjoy his skating. Any chance to upload his FS?

I'm finding out the way to get his FS video. I'll post it if I get it. Or Samuel is going to compete at Tayside Trophy this week and I'm definitely gonna upload both of his performances. You can wait until then and watch them!
