This was the first day of the inaugural San Diego Lao Food Festival of its kind in the United States of America. Its main focus is to give our Lao food its long due recognition that it lacks. We had guest appearances by Cooking With Nana, Spicy Joi Banh Mi, Saeng Doungdara, and SouthEast Spice.
We went along with my sister, Canhdy, and nieces, Ava and Olivia, along with my son, Kallen. We all had a great time listening to Lao music, traditional Lao dance, authentic Lao food, and met all kinds of people.
There is so much content that I will be doing this in parts. So stay tuned for more.
