Onana isn’t the only keeper to have kept for us during preseason, the first game Vitek was in goal. The reason Onana has had more minutes and will still have more is because he work on systems and patterns of play with him. Ten Hag wants to finally execute his game next season with a highline, inverted fullbacks and being more involved and sweeping.

The bane of not taking chances is still haunting the Super Falcons, if that can be reversed or a little tweak they’ll scale through and go forward. That not withstanding, their consistency, resilience, dedication and tactical discipline is way above the Super Eagles.

Mazraoui is an upgrade on Wan Bissaka, though not the best option which should be Frimpong but I don’t think we have the funds to execute the deal. Mazraoui is more of an attacking fullback, good going forward, good interplay, good at crossing, inverting into midfield and better at defending his back post, he offers a whole lot more. For example Trent can’t defend to save his life, but AWB is far from him. The fact is that defensive fullbacks are fading like jeans.

Spain just took a risk and it paid off for them. If you watch the replay carefully you'll see our keeper took two steps forward, on realising what's coming took two steps backwards, but it was too late.

The proposed 100k seater new Old Trafford is the unfortunate bright future of United. Sounds ironic right , yeah that’s because of the avoidable decay the Glazers put our Theatre of Dreams through. We just have to accept it, because it’s the only way, though I believe the naming rights would be sold.

Barring Diego Forlan all the aforementioned ex United players were signed post Fergie and as you know that’s when the club was going downhill. No adequate background checks were done, because they were all the wrong fit. Eg Di Maria never wanted United, he wanted PSG but we available and still overpaid or was it Falcao we never needed and was just returning from a long term injury or Sancho who had disciplinary issues at City, Dortmund & England and we’re paying his £300k plus a week. For Blind he wasn’t a flop, but didn’t fit Morinho’s style. Fergie still had a few flops though, Veron, Djemba Djemba, Klebberson, Bathez etc. But remember the average transfer success rate of a club/manager is 60% , so every club is bound to get some wrong and that isn’t a fail.

As much as I want Rashford gone for numerous reasons, I’ll take him over Sancho any day. Sancho’s mentality, indiscipline, wages aren’t needed, though he’ll still have problems at PSG in the future.

Pogba was a flop, due to inconsistency, bad mentality, fitness worries and indiscipline
