I was thinking exactly the same thing. There has to be a better way than this. ALso... Can they not shift it without needing a second process... Unless the sand is meant to come out wet?

If they do this day in day out, why have they not hard lined in a water spray system around the top edge of the hold, with directional monitors like fire fighting equipment uses? I know labour is obviously very cheap, but it would save them time and effort and make the job safer than having those guys down on the sand.

FYI the power dredger machines they're taking about are the 2 guys with the hoses

Nice one. I'm glad to see that the workers are roped up, and they are clearly working together in a coordinated way, with a plan, the best way to stay safe. The load is clearly destined for a conveyor, and on to a settling pond of some sort. So much better than having all that truck exhaust polluting the place!
