Every year the snow melts, but the trails are muddy and icy. So we head to the sand pits, the first chance to get off studs and put some time on the bike. Unfortunately it's often a rude wake up call because sand isn't very friendly if you're just trying to cruise around... there's a certain level of intensity you need to stay upright.
Our routine on the day was as follows:
1 x 10 minute warm up
2 x 25 minute motos
4 x 2 lap sprints
