In this video, Shri Sandeep Narayan is rendering "Neekela Dayaraadu" in ragam "Sarasangi" and in talam "Jhampa". It was composed by Shri Ramaswamy Shivan.
A Carnatic Music Concert was organized by Parameswaran Kalalaya Foundation at Agri Koli Sanskruti Bhavan, Seawoods, Navi Mumbai on 16th February, 2020. This video was recorded from that live concert.
Shri Sandeep Narayan underwent training from his mother Smt. Shubha Narayan. Later he got advanced music lessons from Calcutta K S Krishnamurthy. In 1999 he began his training under vocalist Shri Sanjay Subramanyam. In 2006 he moved to Chennai to further pursue this art form. He has toured extensively for music concerts in various countries like US, UK, Australia, Germany, Srilanka, Singapore, etc.
Shri B Anantha Krishnan is on violin. He is grandson of renowned violin vidwan Late. Shri V K Venkata Ramanuja Ayyangar and son of violinist Dr. V Balaji. He is continuing his training today under the guidance of violanits Shri S Varadarajan.
On Mridangam we have Shri Neyveli Narayanan. He started his training under the tutelage of famous exponent of Mridangam, Shri S Ganesh Pillai. Later he got trained under Late Shri Tanjavur Upendran. He is also trained under Umayalpuram Shri K Sivaraman. He is A grade artist of Air India Radio. He has shared stage in the past with various great artists, including the Tabla Maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain.
Shri Chandrashekhara Sharma is playing Ghatam. He started practicing under his father's guidance. He was discovered by Shri T S Subhash Chandran, his paternal uncle. He has shared stage with various great artists of Carnatic Music.
