As sad as it is to see another part of the old Gorbals demolished....that was some video, probably the best I've seen so far. Nostalgic for all the people who called those flats home for so many years....wonder what they will think of to demolish next.

Was my home for many years and the place where my best friend sadly died! I cried watching this, goodbye old home!

To anyone commenting. I stood patiently with my camera for around two hours awaiting the detonation. After two of three false starts and about 40 'records', I eventually got the shot. Couldn't be arsed then downloading a pack to edit it. The first couple of minutes are just for suspense. :P

Dust, dust, dust everywhere; that's why demolition in the Netherlands is almost never done with explosives. And filming a demolition that takes month's in stead of seconds, is much more fun. Keeps me busy. But I like this video as well.

Once the building started falling the action improved somewhat. Reminded me so much of building 7 accidentally falling down after a waste paper bin caught fire. Marvellous isn't it

Please do not feed Trump trolls, they do not believe in Newton's third law of motion. They believe that buildings can collapse in free fall without any resistance.

My walk into work tomorrow is going to be very different tomorrow now that they've gone. Weird. Thankfully they seem to have fallen straight - textbook blowdown.

Why do they use explosives when a bit of jet a1 and some office furniture would do the job just as well?

I found the first two minutes to be a little dull. A little more exposition and fleshing out of the characters could have helped.

Editing would be nice, chopping out the first minute of nothing.

No idea mate but it shows that explosives were used at 9/11. residue found afterwards is only seen after a demolition or armed forces job. Also they made sure the girders were quickly shipped away on barges out of the country.

***** Thats right. a theory is a theory. But you not allow us to think about that kind of theories: "uestions asked bout 9/11 by the same people craving attention or lacking something in their lives. The net has been reduced to gossip...." This fact let me know what kind of personality you have...
