Hate sanding? Let me teach you to LET THE SANDPAPER DO THE WORK.
The truth is either you are going to do the work or your sandpaper will do the work. In Sanding Wood Beginners Furniture Refinishing as a 40 plus year woodworker I will teach you how and when to use the right grit sandpaper, at the right time, for the right purpose and in the right sequence. Most people hate the sanding process but it is neither hard nor tedious if done correctly. In this video I’ll demonstrate the proper techniques.
Sanding should be done in sequential steps starting with coarser (low #) papers to start and moving through two or more finer (higher #) papers to achieve the desired finish. Mechanical sanding tools help in the initial steps and are optional in the final steps.
