This is the best mountain bike channel ever. Florence Nightingale would have been proud.

2 turntables is my fun fave. Your videos are excellent and your commentary is top notch! Well done!

Thank you for narrating trails. I think for blind cyclists (often a stoker on a tandem) that your videos might be quite an appreciated service.

Rode Sandy for the first time a couple weeks ago, asked an ex-local for their recommended loop and rode basically what you did in this video. Hilarious to see you echo almost my EXACT sentiments on so much of this (especially that damn rock garden). I was wondering what the hell my buddy signed me up for and then I hit Turntables and all was forgiven. Good review!

You can also do Rock Drop -> 338 -> 2 Turntables if you want to skip Communication Breakdown and Quid Pro Flow.

I should have watched this video before I spent a day at Sandy Ridge in July! We did Rock Drop/Comm Breakdown/Quid Pro as outlined in your video (your comments on the rock garden are spot on - what a relief when that part ends!), but ended up riding CCW around Three Thirty Eight (perfectly nice) all the way to Rock Drop Return / last part of Rock Drop (meh), then doubling back to the kiosk to descend Upper Hide and Seek. Upper Hide and Seek is pretty rowdy! We loved it. We did a quick climb up the road to knock off Flow Motion (great!) before finishing on Lower Hide and Seek. LHS is an incredibly well built trail! I'm not really the biggest flow trail lover, but it is superb. (Maybe it's improved since you made this video?) Overall, Sandy Ridge was a really pleasant surprise on our way up to B'ham and BC.

Lower Hide and Seek has improved massively since I made this video. Sandy is on my list for videos to remake.

I rode here yesterday after skiing at Timberline for 5 hours. Epic fun. And yes there were things I loved and hated about each trail.

OMG, they sure have! I actually did this video with a cheap knockoff action camera. But even genuine GoPros were not that much better back then!

I now prefer to do rock drop, and you have a choice of three trails to feed into at the bottom (of rock drop) or take the fourth option and climb back up rock drop.

Not really, now that I think of it. TTT is kind of like The Legend up on Tiger Mountain, but not as gnarly.

With the helmet cam view, it's hard to get a sense of pitch. You should film someone on their lowest gear ratio struggling up hill. Really set the mood.
