The steps for sanitizing and dewinterizing are nearly identical. I have a late summer so I'm dewinterizing my tanks but also sanitizing for the season. Followed Thor recommended steps and the recommended dose of 1/4 bleach for every 15 gallons. Also bought new filters to help keep system clean for the season. I don't drink the water from the system so I use hoses that are convenient, but I will link to hoses that are marked safe for drinking.
10 inch filter that goes in housing doesn't seem to be available from package directions. It appears to be a generic for a standard 10 inch filter housing. I will need to order a replacement and make sure it works. I will probably try Camco's but will add link when I know it fits.
