I agree! If American bow makers want to be competitive, they need more of a mid-market bow for us working people. Why are bows only 'budget' or 'flagship'? Not everyone wants to spend $1,200+ for a bow to drag through wet bush, and up and down a tree stand.

Totally agree 100% with your entire review! I just received the Dragon 10, 50-60, 27"-30" same color (only color available in my preferred weight range). My current setup revolves around the Bear Execute EKO 32" so that's what I'm comparing it to. This bow is as dead in the hand. The draw cycle is smooth and rock solid back wall but I do get the feeling that it "wants to go" and you can feel it. Any relaxing and it'll jerk. What I noticed immediately is how easily I was able to get on target. I have target panic, so much so that I compensate with a 6 O'clock zero (yeah, I know...) but it works for me. At full draw my pin is where I'm looking, not something that's easy to come by. Going to stop by the LAS after work this afternoon for a "proper" setup. I honestly (so far) like this better than my Execute......time will tell.

@BackyardBows I'm the one that requested and I draw 31.5 which is why I know...LOL.... Also in my research sometimes you need a cable twist to get the true 70lb it often falls just under around 68.x or should I say ive seen cases.... As a previous Hoyt shooter as SOON as I seen it I thought Hoyt heh.... Thanks SO much, I think after your endorsement, I'll make my new years resolution to pick up archery again ( and teach to my grandson) and do it using this bow with the money I save on a bare bow vs an Alpha 33 or Rx8 or Lift 33...I'll buy a better rest and sight ( which sanlida does make a dial sight now ), offset stabilizer for front and rear...and still be all in 800.... I know your shoulder is kinda sensitive, I remember reviews where your like nope not even gonna try that on a 60 second hold I'm done, it's real easy to tell if a draw cycle is harsh on your videos lol...if it's harsh you aren't having it ( oddly those bows are often 4x the cost )...THATS what I was waiting on.....if you enjoyed it I know I can't be wasting my money and it's easier to risk 440 to get back going than 2000 especially if my body doesnt hold up...ill order mine in wilderness... Really appreciate ALL content and what a great Christmas present...there were flagships that were louder as well.... That tech score I'm sure is fair I mean no IMS or rails ect, you DO have to know your draw within reason because it's not a module it's the entire cam if your over 30"...but I hadn't caught the tie in for the drop away which I'll be using.... WE watch you draw bows and this one looks looks nasty at full draw so looks are there they REALLY needed a fade like Wilderness fade to black ect... Hope you have a great Christmas and happy new year.... I know it sucks I'm a proud American too, but the limbs are made here, and it's gonna take people buying bows like this with top notch accessories shooting well and harvesting to get the flagship bow makers back in control because they are OFF the chain...there is NO way a LIFT or Alpha33 cost 4-5x more than this bow to manufacture especially when there is no import and shipping, the profit margin must be insane....if they disagree open them books...ok then.....

Seems a lot of the reviews complain about the arrow rest interfering with the fletch of the supplied arrows then they complain about accuracy. They switch arrows and still complain about accuracy. My thought is switch out the rest for something affordable and then try it out. I'm also curious about your thoughts on one bow going from very short draw length all the way up to 31 or 32 inches. Your review of the dragon 10 was THE most in depth and thorough I've seen. Looking forward to checking out more of your vids.

@@WolfinWolvesClothing713 The people who are interested usually come to our local archery club or a bow shop that a friend of mine owns, so you can see if they are really willing to learn something. Then, I just check if they have any experience with archery at all, like traditional or something, and let them sign a little contract that they can't sue me for injuries from just being silly with the bow and doing shit. It's also a good idea to use equipment that is simple and not much can go wrong: a simple wrist strap release, whisker biscuit rest, sight with one pin, and so on. Make sure they understand how the stuff works before they shoot. And then just teach them step by step, making sure they do it right from the start. A common problem, for example, is people trying to draw with the finger on the trigger. By keeping it simple and teaching in small steps, I've never really had any problems so far.

@@WolfinWolvesClothing713 The people who are interested usually come to our local archery club or a bow shop that a friend of mine owns, so you can see if they are really willing to learn something. Then, I just check if they have any experience with archery at all, like traditional or something, and let them sign a little contract that they can't sue me for injuries from just being silly with the bow and doing things.

I wanted pick this up after seeing your review on it. Keep in mind I still have my first bow from a couple years ago, my Bear Legit. And I do plan on purchasing a flagship in a year or so. I’m leaning towards the PSE Mach 30. It’s hard being a lefty because the shops in my town have very limited options for left handed people, usually no more than 1-2 bows, maybe 1 left handed drop away rest on the wall too. Depending on the day not even 1 left handed bow on the wall. Sadly I’m left to reviews when doing my shopping but luckily we have channels like yours on KZitem. I’d love to have this bow in my lineup alongside my Bear Legit and my future flagship. If you have any contact with Sanlida tell them to hook up the south paws with this one lol

Thanks for reviewing something that personally I wouldn't even consider, but I realize that there is a market for this, and as you said it is a nice option to get guys in the field that don't have $1000+++ to spend!

Stuck comparing this and the diamond edge 320,ive only ever used hand me down bears and bowtechs.i bought a bear limitless awhile back and i found out i dont like the micros.now the edge 320 is 32 axle to axle and the dragon x10 is 33.5 and there both around the same price,im just curious if that 1.5 inch is going to matter alot and if i should just stick with a bowtech bow,i know not to be a fanboy when it comes to these things but i know bowtech and diamond and shot both,this company ive never heard of.would love to see a comparison between this and some other brand name similarly priced bows or even just ones of similar axle to axle

APA has the bows with the RiserTech thingy forward of the grip. Hoyt has it to the rear of the grip. I was looking at this bow, but it doesn't go down to my drawlength of 26.5" (I'm actually 27", but you know most bows run a 1/2" longer than spec'ed).

It's a lot closer than a lot of flag ships which almost all have been rated 20 over what they will actually shoot
@ShawnGilbert1967

It actually shoots 349 at 32" and 68lbs... It shoots 333 w 350gr arrow at 30" draw and only 68.5lbs...twist the cables get that to true 70 and she is right on the money but I don't think I seen 1 flag ship get within single digits of their rating this year lol....at 4.5x cost....

Fact of the matter is American made bows are on the market and as a American that’s where I will put my money.

I feel the same way. I'm a Hoyt guy. But recently I found out their carbon risers are produced in China and bows are assembled in the U.S.

@@Punchy_Portuguese PSE makes and hand lays their carbon in the US. I believe elite does also. With Hoyt at least your money supported a company that is on American soil.
