I am very impressed with the Sarsilmaz hand guns. I owned the P8S, K2 45c and I just got the K12. All the internals are compatible with Tanfoglio so if you want to polish and lighten the trigger Tanfoglio is parts is the way to go. Their is a good aftermarket support for Tanfoglio wich benefits Sarsilmaz.

07:29 - Yes, the rear dots are smaller; but for our eyes, at about 19 inches from the rear sight, they will look the same. Trigonometry. On some target guns the rear sight notch is smaller than the front sight width. I don't know how americans call the gap between front and rear sight from the shooter's point of view, but it's possible to calculate it and fit your sights to your needs.

Of course it isn't a real CZ just a clone-copy. They have been kind enough to start the checkering job on the foreword and aft grip frame... but you have to finish it. Though Graham with large strong hands finds it comfortable to place his thumb on the grip ledge... it is not a good idea, especially for most of us and most use and we should be placing the holding hands thumb down below the ledge in the recess provided for it, as it gives a stronger grip and retention. The same for the index-trigger finger should go in the recess provided below the ledge... I am still wondering how Graham uses it with the trigger finger above the ledge. As to the gun the ejection port is huge compared to the original CZ, and the slide should be held back with the left hand around the forward end of the slide with the thumb behind the trigger... saves on accidental discharges during assembly/disassembly, and the hammer should be in half cock, the right hand used to help bring the slide back if your left needs help and then used to hold the magazines in a constrictor grasp, to hammer the pin out with the rubber floor plate of the magazine. On assembly the only make sure issue is that the takedown hole line up with the cam slot on the barrel, with a quick glance, or better yet learn to feel it. CZ75 design does not need or is it in anyway and advantage to a low bore axis. If you are proficient with double action first pull never put on the safety, but if you find the single action beneficial from round one (1) then carry cocked and locked. The Israeli DPM recoil spring is a good deal, as the initial slide rack is difficult for those with limp wrists or weak hands.., just use the CZ one. Oh, Stainless is softer and more scratch prone as it has tendency to galling, even at the same hardness as carbon steel. Important to note... the CZ 75 [not sure on the clones] can be fired and will safely fire [two different things] with the slide up to 6-7 mm out of battery, i.e. with the barrel just starting to cam down and unlocked. Any more and the mechanism prevents discharge. This ability allows it to be jammed hard into a body and still fire, when in close combat. This practice helps prevent gun snatches, is painful and intimidating to the opponent. It also enhances the wound effect quite significantly 1/3 to 1/2. A personal comment. As I actually use a CZ75 Compact (all steel and 32oz) for carry, and home personal defense. It is NEVER unloaded... however, around the house it should be kept without a round in the chamber. Why is safety and a person finding it and unfamiliar will have to charge by pulling the slide back. Carry use the round needs to be chambered with the trigger at the safety notch, 1/3rd of the way back, and OFF safety for first shot double action. And for first shot single action the round should be chambered with the hammer fully cocked and ON safety... cocked and locked. If you are familiar and used to a Browning type like 1911 or Hi Power single shot only, or only know polymer guns carry cocked and locked. If you are familiar with double action trigger pulls or revolvers carry with the hammer at the safety notch on 1/2 cocked.
