If someone says their pronoun is they, I'll acknowledge it by not using pronouns ever on that person. Cos I were to say 'Oh, they went to the store earlier but now they are back' I would be met a with 'who'? And God bless anyone trying to read that article with Ezra Miller and the bi-gendered kid they (Ezra alone) allegedly groomed. I have no problems with accommodating to pronouns, I just wish they could have chosen something less confusing, like 'it' or make up an entirely new one, like 'thhey', since the whole purpose of having language in the first place is to communicate, not confuse.

@@HazelwithaZ I literally provided examples of why using a commonly used plural pronoun when referring to a singular person would be confusing in both writing and in speech. Do you have anything of substance to say or do you just want to falsely accuse people when you don’t get your way? Sounds very entitled. You’re the one refusing to listen here mate.

And I’m afraid I have to point out yet again, that you have nothing of substance to add regarding the issues I raised. Do you actually have anything useful to say regarding the issue or any solutions to this matter? Nope. Why think when accusing is easier right?

I'm on the same, plain old "she" prounoun and this sound like a fun world I'd love to live in. It sounds 1000 times better than the current one where people complain about language that helps ppl, but then every second word from their mouth is some cussing with a very very high percentage chance for misogynistic terminology. If we're going through the trouble of adjusting language, like we've always and constantly done throughout history, then I'd rather see ppl get used to such positive change than some of the awful stuff we've come up with, in the past! :'D

@@elisakrivas I guess they mean that when a second party is referring to a third party via the third person pronoun in a situation where you aren't available to hear it and they're too lazy to use your name, confusion might arise. Which is obvious nonsense. "I saw Elisa the other day, they were eating fish and chips". Not complicated at all :)

@@squeakel11 I'm sure you'll be able to understand "they" and "them" are still pronouns and the same word as our plural pronouns. You'll be able to learn some new words, too, and not just hear incoherent sounds instead of a language. I get it. You think new words are hard and worry you might not be smart enough to be able to add any more to your vocabulary. Especially when those words are connected to something that doesn't directly affect you (like someone else's gender). I'm sure you feel fine being called the wrong pronouns and can't understand what all the fuss is about.
