She was cursing being violent and threatening toward the managers and employees. When asked to leave she left and then returns in a more confrontational manner. All would have been avoided if she left the establishment. She then resisted arrest when the police asked her to come with them, wilingvertly her top pops off while resitsting. The only wrong was there should have been a female officer on the scene.

It shouldn't immediately go to arresting cuz obviously this was not necessary in this case

Hmmm. When a private entity on their own private property tells someone to leave the premises... the person should leave immediately. Furthermore, the private entity doesn't have to provide a reason to the person...because it's private property and they can determine who can and cannot be on the property. If you don't leave, it's trespassing. It's not a difficult concept.

To those commenting that the cops were wrong and because the video did not have sound she did nothing wrong, get off that shit you're smoking and give yourself a reality check. Maybe she is a cousin, bff or what have you, but add wrong to that also. She should never have stayed that long yapping back and forth. No audio? Do you think she was standing there waving her hands and singing Kum-Ba-Ya?? Nothing racial about this at all. If three black officers had arrived on the scene it probably would have gone further south just off her actions alone. Why does the first officer immediately touch her? When arriving on a scene, his job is to de-escalate and determine what is going on. Not to immediately start laying hands on. A simple issue such as this should not require violence, but patience. Have them leave and issue them a trespass warning. Why did they immediately go to arresting the person? Throwing someone on the ground, twisting their arms in odd angles and screaming "Stop Resisting" and "I'm fixing to break your arm" should not be their standard protocol for someone who is being non-violent. And I call BS on their comment about the cop threatening to break her arm. There should be no excuse for that.

ssabucca Thank you for acknowledging what is the obvious. Most people like to say brown people are crying about nothing. But clearly it’s still a FACT AmeriKKKa clearly DON’T KNOW how to handle BROWN people. I felt that he could have got her side of the story and simply asked them to leave the premises. Brown people will always be seen as a “threat” “super-predator” “criminal” “poor” “uneducated” and my favorite “thugs”. So the police job is to criminalize brown people.

Racial bias is absolutely a real thing, whether they want to admit it or not. So is white privilege. I am not even going to try and say what it must be like for black people to drive, walk down the street, shop in walmart, play with an obvious toy gun in a park, do everything they are supposed to do during a traffic stop and still get killed, or even be a little drunk in a waffle house and express your rage at being treated a certain way or any other activity that most white people take for granted. I'm not qualified to talk about it, but it does make me fucking mad.

You know what would have been the easiest and most normal way for this to go ? Cop says "you need to leave this establishment now", and then the customer respects the law, and the lawful order of the cop, and leaves. If that was the case, no one would had gotten manhandled. She did this to herself, as so many other people that thought they were smarter then the law and think arguing and resisting will change anything except receiving physical pain. But yeah, it did look like a rough situation didn't it, and you know why ? because the woman thought she could avoid arrest by physically fighting the arrest procedure. If she'd let them do their jobs and put on handcuffs without resisting, she'd never end up on the ground. and then continues to try avoid them getting her hand on her back. Of course cops will use force against force in order to fullfill their obligation.

Trespassing, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, public intoxication, terroristic threats, and she added resisting arrest by not cooperating with police officers. Had she cooperated with the police officers who were responding to a trespassing call from the Waffle House manager on duty that told her that the alcohol she brought in was not allowed and against restaurant policy, she likely would have been taken in and allowed to sober up in a cell and be released later with no charges. Instead, she had to be an obstinate mule and cause a scene with her sense of entitlement.

First off how could she be arrested for a crime that wasn't committed in police presence? It is my understanding, that any criminal act that was committed outside of police presence would require the issuing of a warrant for arrest. Secondly, how could she be arrested for disorderly conduct on the spot when there was no proof of any language that was used to constitute fighting words, that would incite, according to the statue in the state of Alabama? There's a difference between being charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Each one of those charges have different elements to constitute the charges. However, outside of police presence it would require the issuing of a warrant to be sworn out. This is not to condone her behavior, because I see so many discrepancies in how she handled the situation, as well as the police. I could go on and on but I'm going to leave that up to the police department and her to attorney. But I see a civil vicktory here if handled appropriately.

The 911 call was made at 2:30? That was the minute they walked in!! And how did they KNOW she'd resist arrest? The 3 officers just showed up on the scene. (IMO, expecting trouble because...black) Watching scenes like this is shocking & sickening to me. I have a close family member who is a Canadian Cop. In his 30 year Career he drew his gun TWICE & NEVER FIRED in the line of duty. To go from incident to arrest completed in 14 mins seems ridiculous! And why no mention of BAC? Don't show a woman with a garbage can & tell me she's intoxicated. If I got tackled to the ground by 3 men with guns for no real reason, I'd probably be so scared I'd throw up, too! Give statistics or don't malign her character further!

The more i think about this... Even if she threaten to kill everyone within a 50 mile radius, this doesn't excuse how the police treated her. In PA, they responded to her coffee arrest more gracefully. In Alabama, where they jailed their own governor over nothing and kept him in prison for a few years... they handled this poorly and any rational person can see this is bullshit. Too bad there are no journalist who can raise the question... where's the body camera footage so we can get the 'full' picture.. but this is Alabama, where they almost voted for a pedophile into the senate. I'm a shame of Alabama.

You'd know how afraid they are of arresting anyone black & how many chances they get instead of arrest even if public is put in danger. Yea it's a shitty place so Stay Away

This is confusing. They had a beverage that they were told to leave for but they still served them? If they didn't serve them then what does the 50 cents thing have to do with anything? This was all one sided with limited info on what employees were saying, who said what when and first. There were rationales for the police behavior but none for the customers. Still don't think they needed that much force especially for a drunk woman. They're using this drunk thing to equate irrational behavior which shouldn't be the case. However the customers didn't reach out to defend themselves, which is detrimental but could also be beneficial without having legal representation. I need better accounts from the witnesses.

She was moved to that area and the police likely didn't even know that it was not covered. Waffle House will likely put a camera there now.

panda44r And that’s just the bottom line! Many cops are just racist, heartless and have no compassion for Hebrew Israelite people. It’s like they’re hating on the fact that these people were set aside and made Holy to God, making them His chosen people. Well y’all Devils should take that up with the Most High!!! Black people, Black women in this particular case, shut ur loud ass mouth up, know that these people are ur enemy and that there is no justice in this modern-day Babylon of a country. You should humble urself and understand that you must come back to Yah(God)s’ Law, statures and commandments before ur justice run down like water. Stay home and teach the children!!! Wipe the dust off ur feet of these racist institutions and never go back!! You can’t fight with them, they hold the power right now. You should and must remember who ur forefathers are and know and believe that Yah will fight for you. If you read ur Bible and follow the law, stature and commandments, Yah will crush them mightily, just as they deserve. He will do this in His due time, in the meanwhile, sit ur ass down somewhere so that you can watch these devils and pray to Yah Almighty. He sees what they do, and remember He is also watching you.👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾✊🏽

You must be kidding me....no court is buy this trumped up video. The other women captured everything on the cell phone with audio. How do you think you are kidding. Lier, lier, lier...pants on fire. What a disgrace...those police officers do not deserve to wear the uniform.

Do you ever notice the video never starts with the preceding minutes, the camera's always begin "after" the confrontation begins. Give me a break.

The other woman did not capture the entire conversation. As you can see from the waffle House cameras, she was yelling and arguing with staff. Now that is conveniently left out.

This is the problem in the matriarchy black community black women have issues with authority and they pass it down to black children. This is why black children are failing. Black women value emotion over logic, feelings over facts. Black women overwhelmingly raise children alone and impose illogical behavior in black children.

yes, they welcomed her in, asked her not to leave while hiding the fact that they were calling in the terrorist cops to rape and abduct her. It's right there in the video.
