More about Sardarji Omelette Wale & His Bread Omelette:
Balbir Singh came to Delhi as a partition refugee and has been running this omelette stall since 1952, that is the last 66 years! He opens his stall every evening and has a long list of loyal patrons who hang around here while devouring his delicious omelettes.
The stall is a tiny place as compared to other nearby well-lit and lively food stalls but this one should have all your attention if all you really want is a plateful of delicious, filling omelettes!
Price for 1 Bread Omelette - Rs.50
Address: Outside Pragati Maidan Metro Station (Gate Number 2), from 5 pm - 11 pm (except Tuesdays)
So, if you liked this inspirational story of this old man, and are craving some fluffy bread omelette, you know where to head!
