NostalGeek, don't worry, the Jackson can be fixed. It IS a freakish looking wig straight out of the box!! She also relaxes a lot with wear. So blow dry her a bit, spray with a little wig shine, you can even try washing her too, sometimes that softens the perma tease a bit. Good luck!

@SashaHartleb

NostalGeek, i call it shine, but it is normally labeled "lusterizer" or conditioner. It's just a spray, many brands make it, you will see it in the hairspray section at wig supply stores. Or you can look up on amazon things like "wig lusterizer" or "wig detangler".

Oh boy, that's a tough one. They are both great, but I would SO RECOMMEND trying Noriko's wigs on at a wig shop first, because the caps are weird, now if you want stunning wigs that are realistic and caps are AWESOME, then check out Envy brand wigs. The caps are to die for, and the hair is so pretty. I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear them.

Coloring your hair will make it thin out, its too much stress on the hair shaft. These chemicals are not good even if a colorest says the product is very gentle. We create our own nightmare. Unless you've had thin hair from your youth or having a medical issue.

If you wanted the "Jackson" to not really look like the "Jackson", you really achieved it. Usually, I can spot a "Jackson" no matter what color, a mile away, probably because I love her so much, but on you I would have never known. To me you definitely made it your own, and thats what everyone should do. Myself, Im not scared of perma tease. I like the effects, I dont mind knowing its there, but I dont want to SEE that brillo Pad mess.

I tried it on again this morning and I think I'm going to have to send it back. It looks so bad. Plus it's tight and uncomfortable. I tried with a band and it's tight, without the band it's better but I don't want it to slip around. Anyways - I think I'm done with trying this

Hi Sasha I found out you can use a hand held heat gun for when your hair goes frizzy and the movement isnit so good. Use the steamer with a paddle brush and it straightens out again. I bought the Zara wig by Jon Ranau and it´s terrible, this wig was I´m very unmanageable, bump on the back, this big huge horrible, preeminent, the JR comb destroys the fiber, Zara always entangled I´ll would like to try/wear Noriko or Amore wigs, I've never bought this brand. The Jon Renau seller said Noriko is very bad quality. I'm disappointed with JR wigs, I hope Noriko seville and angelica will be better, thank you!!

OmG! The Zara was on my wish list of future wigs!! Thanks for the heads up! Please let me know when you try a Noriko what you think of the difference. I do believe you will find a similar "bump" of permatease in the Noriko line, but the hair seems to fair alright in their wigs as long as the hair is shorter. I have to say my longer wig (Angelica) needs quite a bit of combing during the day. She can be a pain on a windy day, but its she is so pretty I don't care!

Read the review in Amazon 1 star, she´s right about all said. ==> Where should I start? I did a lot of research on this wig before I actually purchased it. I have been a wig wearer for over 30 years because of thinning, out of control hair. For the past five years I have been wearing the Shilo wig by Noriko, Stevie wig by Amore and Miranda wig by Amore. All three of these wigs are good quality, long lasting, great fitting, and very comfortable to wear. Additionally, they are less expensive than the Zara wig. I wanted a change and so I decided to purchase Zara which was the biggest mistake of my life. This expensive wig is quite frankly the worst wig I have ever purchased. The fiber is horrible and the wig looks very fake. The fit is awful, too big on the top of the wig and short on the sides and I have to keep pulling the sides down in order to cover my hair. I have been using Got2b Ultra glue to keep it on my head and even that isn't helping. The lace front is itchy and I end up scratching my head all day long. I have watched many reviews on KZitem about this wig and I would swear those people are getting paid to give a positive review about this wig. Be smart and buy one of the other wigs listed above. You will save yourself a lot of money and aggravation.

Hi Sasha❣. I remember you mentioned a wig grip on a video and I was wondering if you would talk about it. I'm new to wigs and so far I'm only able to wear them for a few hours. After the first hour it starts to hurt at the hair line and it gets worse after that. It literally feels like someone is pulling my hair out. I tried different wig caps. I tried a silicone grip which made it worse. Inexpensive and expensive wigs makes no difference. Am I doing something wrong? Is this feeling normal and no one talks about it? My friend borrowed my Angelica and she had the same feeling after an hour of wearing the wig. Will a Milano grip help? Have you noticed any difference when wearing a grip?🤔

I avoid putting any products in it for one. (Hairsprays, dry shampoos, and other gunk.) and I brush it constantly!!! there's no avoiding tangles. it just happens, but matting is a sign of build-up or a wig that needs replacing or a "hair cut"?

Hi Sasha. I have a ? on the ear tabs for all Noriko wigs. How do you get the ear tabs to fit so perfectly? You use a "standard" cap? I do too, but the ear tabs never extend to the hair line by the ears?
@SashaHartleb
7 жыл бұрын
I guess I've just been lucky that they fit me so well. I have run into problems with wigs that were too big, and I sometimes flip the ear tabs inside the wig to "hide" them, because they aren't in the right location on my head. This really only works on long haired wigs though. It may just be the brand's sizing, it seems to vary so much with wig brands. One brand's standard cap may be perfect for you, while others run smaller or larger. That's why I always say you should go to a wig shop and try on multiple brands to see which have the sizing and quality you are after. If you are purchasing spendy wigs, it's almost a must.

Dear Sasha! Your natural hair is not that thin/bad at all. If my hair was like yours, I would never wear any wigs. Wow! this is great info, thank you so much. I have just started to wear wigs to experiment and I've never had nice hair naturally. So learning how to wear synthetic is important to me bc i can't really afford a real hair one. I absolutely love permatease because i have a long narrow face and a big nose. It helps to balance my features a bit. One thing I have a question about is what to do about that funny wig smell that occurs about a week or less into having a new wig. Is there a deoderizer you can recommend inbetween washes.
@SashaHartleb
7 жыл бұрын
if a wig smells funny, I'd say wash it!! bad smells are usually bacteria, but if that is not the problem, you just don't like the plastic hair smell, I've heard of people spraying their wigs with Febreeze!! Or you could try a dry shampoo spray.

I like this wig. I was hoping you'd turn around so I could see the back, I might just get this one next. I have the Shilo, I have a review up on her. Do you find the shorter wigs tangle less??? nice review :-)

Yes, short wigs last a heck of a lot longer and you don't need to brush them like crazy throughout the day. But, I just had a someone tell me that the Angelica comes in a Partial Mono top now, and I'm so excited. Look for "Angelica PM" by Noriko if you are interested. Sorry I didn't show the back of the wig, it was my first video, and I didn't really think too far ahead!!

I jusT realized that was the first vid lol. I was nervous making my first video. Anyways, I'll check that Angelina pm out....the regular one is on sale, I think I'll hold off getting that one, I like mono tops better. :-)

Yeah, I'm definitely going to upgrade to the PM when my Angenlica need replacing. The standard cap doesn't bother me, but I think I will love it even more with the updated cap. I don't mind that this is a long tangley wig....it's so beautiful, it's worth it.

I watched your fake hair vids about a year ago, liked 'em. However, stuck home as in coronavirus and need an update and watching your vids.. This is your best video. Hints for getting the darkest blonde with roots recommendation from Noriko would be great. Vote blue as well. Cheers from this Scot living in CA. #daydrinkingokrightnow

Where do you get your wigs? Do you order them from someplace on line, or at a local shop?
@SashaHartleb

suzy mcclung, I've bought wigs everywhere honestly. A local wig shop was my first wig purchase, I also buy from wigs.com and like sites, brand name wig sites, and eBay. Anywhere I can find the best price or a sale on the wig I have my eye on. I love hunting for a good deal, don't you?

This may be a dumb question, but why do you wear the net cap under the wig? Couldnt you just put it on over your own hair? Also, what are the average life spans of Angelica and Jackson?
@SashaHartleb

Well, wig life depends a lot on how much you wear and wash it, AND most importantly how picky you are about how good a wig looks. Jackson can last a long time (a year even) if you are gentle with it, because she doesn't tangle much. Angelica can last as little as three months if you wear her everyday and you are brushing her lots. I HATE it when the fibers look all springy and plasticy from too much tangle and brushing out. It's all up to you and your usage. That's why I would rotate wigs and try to find inexpensive wigs that meet your daily use requirements. Replacing a 400 dollar wig every few months sucks, but if you save her for evenings out and maybe just indoor wear you will give her a better life expectancy. I'm in and out a lot so my daily wear wigs get a lot of wind wipping! I have to watch the weather to decide what to wear!!
