90 miles from the boarder here. Definitely in the North Woods! My father and uncle had an encounter in the BWCA mid 80s. I can't saw exactly why but over time I've gained a new respect and understanding for this topic. I like your approach to this. I like the interviews. You let people speak without constantly interrupting. You ask pertinent questions. Keep up the great work.

I live in Northern Minnesota and my mother who is a devout Christian recently had a bigfoot sighting and described it as an upright (bipedal) massive shaggy grey haired creature moving along side the road at speeds she didn't think possible. The town we live in is saturated with bigfoot lore and you'll see statues and silhouettes of bigfoot everywhere. Lots of paranormal activity. Unexplained disappearances. Lights in the sky. Black unmarked helicopters. It's definitely a thing out here and I believe every word this man said.

He is a great guy and a very down to earth person. Thank you for leaving your comment! I believe your mother, especially with the large amounts of reports from the northern part of Minnesota! If she ever wanted to talk about it i would be willing to hear her out. Thank you!

@@SASQUATCHTHEORY I definitely feel the same. He sounds incredibly genuine and humble and you can tell that he has a slight amount of hesitation in recounting his stories which to me seals the deal to me. Honestly there's not much to her story other than what I said already, I tried pressing her for more details but she just says that it was like the opening scene to Harry and the Henderson's but it frightened her so badly she just sped on. If she had to guess the height it would be somewhere between 7-8 tall with the classic connicle shaped head anywhere from 300-500 lbs. It was nighttime. She regrets not slowing down more or even stopping. I don't think she'd have a problem speaking with you. I can attest to the fact that he said people are very hesitant out here to speak about it at all. In fact there are people avidly trying to discredit/debunk any claims. I've been trying to do my best to find out what I can but I think I'm going to have to go to the White Earth reservation and speak to some Native Americans on the issue but I doubt they'll be to forth coming to an outsider. I apologize for not checking your page for your email address but I'd love to start a dialogue with you as a fellow enthusiast/investigator and outdoorsman. I really appreciate your channel and the fact you put this out there for people to share their stories. And your documentaries are as informative as enjoyable.

Camping solo I was woke 3am to the sound of large branches snapping violently all around the tent with small breaks in between for about 30 minutes.When it stopped I headed out with the torch and saw nothing. Next morning got up for a look and saw large broken branches on trees the wood had been removed, this was the most terror I’ve ever felt. Great story I enjoyed it!

I’m in northern Minnesota and have spent many years in the woods. I have heard the loud deep woops but never knew what they were. Just figured they were some big bird or something. I have stood outside in the middle of the night at the hunting shack and howled on occasion and got the wolves to answer back. They sound eerie. Can’t explain the loud woops though.

Here's my take on Big Foot, Sasquatch, Yeti etc. is this. There have been more recent the discovery of the Denisovans or Denisova hominins which like Neanderthals coexisted with modern humans. They, to our knowledge are extinct. But the reason we know is they did live during our existence and had similar skills. There is so much uncharted land that I think it is possible for a lessor advance primate like hominid to have remained in existence BECAUSE they weren't true human subspecies like the Denisovans or Neanderthals and we didn't intermingle. And as such being more of a primate (I don't like the term) but more animal than human like the other great primates we know of, knew to keep hidden. Think about it, why doesn't North and South America have any large Primates? There are many land areas for them to inhabit. Also, there is the factor of various First Nations people and ancient human communities like the Inca and Mayan that did, throughout history, war with each other. Thus giving enough reason for a large primate humanoid to know to fear man. So I am not saying I 100% know such a creature exists, because I have not seen one BUT I don't 100% deny that they CANNOT exist. I simply don't have enough information to prove that they don't exist, and really nobody has that level of definite proof that they don't exist.
@mytwocents848

There is no reason a relic hominid couldn't exist. There is so much we don't know about our world. I agree with you.
@frankshort7798

The fact that tens of thousands of us from all walks of life that HAVE seen them and try to warn everyone they do exist and our government is complacit in it's cover up dosent do anything for you? When one walks up outa woods and stares down at you and you shit on yourself,THEN later hear someone say (IF THEY EXIST ) you will THEN realize how stupid you are ,along with most people.
@male272

Human Predation Theory. If you take the extremes of human habitation over time from Africa, those areas that are more recently habitat for humans seem to coincide with encounters and sightings. This coincides with our primate genocidal tendencies, we wipe out competing hominids. They would naturally be pushed into areas where we are not.

I think that the throwing of small rocks and acorns etc and the foot stomps in the water is being done by younger individuals in an attempt to freak the people out or piss them off! I believe it's a great deal of fun to these guys! When it's a threatening or aggressive in nature this is a wish for you to be gone, they don't want you there! This will escalate in magnitude and threat the more you ignore it! I wouldn't suggest you do that! Take the hint and take your leave when it's offered!

Dude here's my first encounter with the rocks throwing. For me,,, there is two types of rock throwing. I think 2009 maybe 2007 ,, but anyway there was drought at the time. Heat wave 115 f for weeks. Each creek pratical dried up even grass growing in the creek. I like to hunt down ginseng and goldenseal roots. Just to get out back into nature not really digging up much,, looking and observing nature,, in a strange way. My father,, RIP,, always took out to this set of woods to teach me about root digging. Years after he past I started to go out there by myself. During the drought,, if there is water in the creek,, there must be a source,, like a spring water. So,, I go there,, went straight to the creek instead of fighting to get in the woods. As I'm in the creek walking,, I'm getting wore out fast from the heat,, slowing down fast and getting thirsty. This is when I would start looking at the creek banks for fresh water from a spring. So I stopped in the creek to rest. There was like a deep cut valley but water was being leached out of the ground spring water. So I sat on log enjoying the shade . I look up say myself damn if I'm going to start looking for roots ,, this is a step hill climb. This hill out of the creek was well over a 100 feet up but ruffled down the hillside. As I got up on the first set embankment, ruffle, its still sandy full of pebbles rocks. As I'm getting halfway up the hill. This was crazy to me,, but about like 1 inch rocks were thrown at me , but not directly thrown at me. I thought some kids were in the woods,, I always saw 4wheeler tracks,, so I really really got pissed. I started up the hill grabbing hands full of these small sandy pebbles rocks. As I'm going up the hill throwing hands full rocks I'm yelling,, you want to throw rocks you....MF... I got to the top of the hill dead silence. Now I'm up on top,, the back end the edge of the woods . I'm now thirsty,, wore and need to rest. So I started looking for spring water again as a resting place. I ended up in this little riff valley,, I'm looking and looking. I finally find a water source. I'm standing next to a tree,, about, no more than 10 feet down,, you could see the roots of the growing out the side of this little valley. I go down the root system like it was a set up of steps. As I got down in this area,,, I can see a small film of water going upwards. This tells follow the water source for more better water. As I started to walk upwards I pasted up the trees roots . As soon as I got past,,, there was a pile of deer bones and like rest spot. These bones were definitely last year's or so. So far strange azz day. Rocks throwing, resting spot, pile of deer bones and in the valley of a spring water source. I finally got my drink water and rest myself further up. Well I followed the same way back. I got to the back to the tree spot. I turn my back to the tree,, looking, for direction. On the other side of this little valley, I see maybe 5 feet to walk out , up on flat land. I see a tree about 80 foot fell over. But it never hit the ground,, when the tree fell,, it was entangled up in the trees, supporting the tree up like a ramp. As I'm standing there,,, thee most horrible smell engulfed me. Like wet dog hair,, swamp , indescribable smell. My hair stood up , my heart starts racing, panic sets in quickly. I see the tree that fell but like a ramp,, I ran to that fallen tree,, up fast than squirrels. I didn't look be hind me I was scared shitless, I just darted. I go up the tree as far as I can go,, pulled out my cell phone and took two random pictures. Being this up pretty high,, I'm looking and looking,, were in the hell am I at. I went up further on the tree, hoping I could see some way out. I did,,, I could barely see a cornfield. Bam,, down the tree I went,,, darted for the cornfield... then a houses roof... then a road. I figured out were I was once on the road,, went straight to a old church I knew that was there. They have a water hose on the side. I got there called for a ride home. Never told anyone on the way home. Years later just further away, miles down the same creek. This year was flood. The water rose a crested about 2 foot of water back into the woods . I was on the other side of the creek chilling on a big old tree. The side I'm on is shallower than the other side. The other is the 2 foot flooded side. All of a sudden, a big big rock was thrown. Got my attention fast ,, I turned real fast because I was making a feel good video of the flooded area. I don't know if I got anything on video, but on 5he video the rock can be heard and the ruffles in the water. So for me,, I think,, the small rocks throwing is to let you know,, your in my territory close to my home. The big rock throwing is your pissing off or interfering in something going on. I was thinkin,,, they were trying to catch fish to eat that day back in the flooded area.

Just a thought, what if you used an old fashioned dictaphone to at least record any vocalisations, maybe they can't sense or manipulate more out of date technology! I don't know, just a thought I had. Loved this interview too, I'm going back and binge watching everything!

Maybe someone else mentioned this in the below comments but maybe the thumping sound he felt while walking in the ground ws one of these creatures jumping down from a tree

When I hear stories of small rocks being thrown at campers, my motherly/female intuition kicks in and makes me think it is little kid Sasquatch kids having fun and being kids, being silly and naughty. When I hear about very large rocks or boulders being thrown at people, my intuition tells me to get the heck out of there because the big guys do not want you there any longer. The thing is, to my knowledge whatever these entities are, they have never harmed or killed anyone even though they have the capacity to do so because of their enormous size. If there have been killings, forgive my ignorance, but I do not know of any. This makes me feel that whatever they are, they are not here to hurt anyone, they are here for a purpose that none of us have the intelligence to realize just what that purpose is.

You are so wrong! They have killed quite a few people and some kids! They eat people some times and/or tear them apart. I know quite a bit about bigfoot, but I don't feel like explaining right now!

There have been killings by these creatures and also they take children ,they are fascinated with our children ,watch David paulides missing 411(Dennis martin) a couple and their child witnessed a Sasquatch that just abducted Dennis martin,the saw the creature running through the woods with the poor little boy slung over it's shoulder ,later a team of green berets came into the national forest where this occured and would talk to no one .this happened in the 60's /early 70's.many more reports of these things attacking /killing people. Also reports of them helping people.30 years I've searched for truth ,like people some good some bad,but check out Scot carpenter ,I beleive they are what he believes.

Lois, bible says in the end times creatures will rise out the earth and devour a third of mankind ,it says the sight of these creatures will cause men's hearts to fail, some people and in Indian legends say these are some of what bible is speaking of ,for now they are not allowed to harm humans(though some do) but these creatures are waiting for gods protection of us to be lifted and then they will attack mankind ,it goes along with the nephilum belief ,they are descendents of the fallen angels ,and I believe this is the closest I've found to explain what they are. Part human part fallen angel/demon. The d.n.a.lines up with this theory and bible.yes dna. Has been found and shown human mother unknown father .no d.n.a. to match can be found in genbank (where all known d.n.a. is recorded)

The indescribable growl, I wonder if it's more than just sound waves, and maybe some sort of psychic element to it as well.. And how their presence makes everything turn quiet defies logic

I think you could probably at least take an audio recording device. Just turn it on and sit it down somewhere. I've heard a lot of audio recordings and they're taking like that a lot of the times.

I just want to touch on something our guest said in answer to the “Mindspeak” question at minutes 31-32. I believe there is a strong possibility that what he is describing there are his “Animal Instincts” kicking in, letting him know (as he describes earlier) that these things are dangerous etc. NOTE: I am a 100% supporter! I’m as open to ‘Squatch having “Special Abilities” as anyone because the guest is correct: “There IS SO MUCH we don’t know.” So I’m not saying he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I’m saying this only out of the desire to DISARM those (mostly in the science community) who desire to use our own words against us, to discredit the existence of these beings.

If i had to guess which i am. The feelings ppl get like the dread might just b the natural instinct of primal fear to something that outclasses us humans. Kinda like the feeling small animals must feel most of the time in the wild.

Sasquatch i guess have more vocal cords then we do so they can make sounds of different octaves at the same time making it sound like it could be more than one. Dont know for sure that its true but it def. seems like it could be right?

The people who went to bed in their tents, didn't wake up from the LOUD HOWLING and screams from sasquatch in the woods when you and 3 others were sitting around the campfire? How did they not wake up from that??

@islndgrl Well they stayed up and people were talking. If they could sleep through that I am sure they didn't hear what was out in the woods. He did mention to me years ago they were heavy sleepers.

@@SASQUATCHTHEORY If a sasquatch was howling and screaming so loudly in the woods, that is LOUD ENOUGH TO WAKE UP THE DEAD. I'm sure you will wake up. But my guess is some people can sleep despite loud noises, maybe they are deaf? Lol...
