First off, of course it has to be diagnosed, that’s how mental disorders work. Second, it doesn’t give you superpowers. It can make you really good at some things, but you’re also really bad at others. That man didn’t speak until he was 9 years old. I have autism, and I can tell you ever president and vice president in American history and the years they served, but I struggle to remember that I have to take showers regularly. And to many of us, neurotypical people are the ones with superpowers. I can’t socialize with people normally, because I literally do not understand have the shit y’all do and what the hell y’all mean.
