Look just like cute but smaller saddlebreds. The only thing I don't like in Morgan's, Arabians, even saddlebreds( though there aren't many hunter or dressage classes for them at higher levels) but the hunter division horses are just little saddleseat horses with a hunter or dressage saddle. If they are going to have a hunter, dressage, or even the western division -- they should look the part in movement, not just tack. They should be able to compete in an open division and rarely can they. This is a serious fault at the association and show management level and the judging. You also see way too many paddling, winging, not moving straight - this should be down judged and the judges pass on it. It's not right and they are ruining the breeding of all by allowing these horses to win and then they bred passing on potential conformation faults. Sometimes, it is just a matter of too much hoof and weight for the horse -- but absolutely not always. Either way, it makes no difference, it's suppose to count against them.
