Mate how are going with the Lovegrass?. Are you having a win?, or you can’t get rid of it?.

To be completely honest when it got really dry before November last year. The love grass was keeping our cattle going. They’ll eat after it’s been cut and the knew growth comes through. I am planning on ploughing and putting down some pasture seed hopefully next spring.

Keep up the videos mate! Glad you didnt do yourself a serious mischief on the quad, as a rough rule how many cattle can you run per acre of good pasture?

It can vary so much depending on the seasons in our area they say 3 acres per cow my mates place out west is 30 acres per cow. Rotational grazing is a real game changer I think you can run more cattle per acre. We are still trying to get our pasture right here we have a lot of love grass here. Thanks for watching.

Hi mate, Good to see you did not get hurt. Things happen. Do you have to ring the Council for a permit when you are burning in Qld or are you free to do it? Thanks, cheers

Hi anything bigger than 4x4x4 meters you call the fire warden and get a permit. Thanks for watching.

Hi, thanks for the video. It shows what life is like on a farm if you are prepared and able to get out there. Accidents happen when doing stuff.
