This video is mesmerizing. I’ve watched it many times and still can’t take my eyes off of it. It comes to you from the creative genius of their video editor Jimmy Bates. He worked with each of the guys to get the exact video footage he needed and yes, it was a lot of work. I saw a video where Chance said something like…It was a great idea Jimmy. Don’t ever do it again.

The unsung hero of this video, along with all the other great quarantine videos, is Jimmy Bates. He led the guys through the whole filming process virtually and then puzzled it together to make this masterpiece. The guys said in several interviews that they won‘t miss recording videos on their own because it‘s just so much work. So, kudos to all involves to keep it interesting with very limited resources.

Hands down, Home Free was the most innovative group during quarantine. Jimmy Bates did such a good job with many of these videos and you have to give credit to the wives and girlfriends behind the camera too

One word JIMMY!!! This was Jimmy's baby and he did an amazing job on it. If you ever get access (HF Patreon only video at the moment) the behind the scenes for this is a must watch. It shows how hard this was to make and how hard they all worked to get the amazing final product. I knew you would love it and that was why it was my request. More often than not when I hear the song come up on my playlist, I feel the need to drop everything and go and re-watch the video.

I think this was my introduction to HF. I love the transitions, and absolutely love the song. I have never been and will not be on TikTok. Personally, I don't want China to know any more about me than they already do. I think this was there first video in quarantine - and it was done on phones, before they got their new equipment. Great stuff, man! Thanks for this, Saucey.

Glad you reacted to this one.. I have been waiting for you to see the incredible video editing in this one.. If you go back to see it.. check out the Jeffrey East t-shirt that Austin is sporting... and the fact that yeah.. it most likely was a hose.. but that was Kenny Rogers picture on the window silll behind Austin during the rain and shine part... Some where in Austin's house is the White t shirt that was signed on him by the Oak Ridge Boys and framed .. much like your awesome new Avi T.. Love that and am so glad that you showed the pic of the bass guys up close.. I couldnt see it very well until then.. now I want one, too...Loved your reaction.. oh..btw.. Austin Brown broke his arm while learning to riide that board... there are pix of him in a suit and cast lol.. Stay safe.. and i LOVE the glasses on you.. Thanks for all you do.. and enjoy that Avi concert in Cambridge if you go... I lived in Cambridge when I was a little one.. what venue is he playing at?

Austin's one-wheel is really cool - he uses it to take his dustbins up to the road on bin day, pulling them along behind... He also takes it on tour, and has been seen riding around venues on it. Yes, he did fall off it in the early days, and had to have his wrist in plaster for a few weeks - just in time to get signatures from a lot of other country singers at that year's CMA awards. But he seems pretty confident with it now.

I agree completely. My dad passed away in March 2020 from pneumonia. Thank goodness we were able to be with him at hospital. Seeing all the ICU rooms filled is super depressing. Lost about 10 family members (none from Covid-19) and couldn't attend funerals. 2020 was a complete s--tshow emotionally. Better late than never finding the 3 acapella groups. Hopefully VoicePlay will decide on a 5th member (Omar please)so they can do shows. I am so there!

Yes the boys did look a little scruffy in this video but hey we all did just because we could. I was most surprised by Tim's grey streak in his hair because I didn't know he had been dying it. But I love it cause it gives him a distinguished look. But do miss his long hair. Loved HomeFrees cover of this song. I heard later that Austin actually hurt his wrist riding that "whatever" it's called. ✌❤

Yeah, Tim's grey streaks are looking good. I just miss the longer hair. Speaking of longer hair, I wish Austin would take the tie-back out sometimes. I like him so much better with his beautiful long hair hanging loose around his shoulders. I was them in Victoria and he had it tied back the whole show. Which made me pout a bit, while enjoying the hell out of every song.

"Hose on the window" - I just returned to NH from North Carolina, where I witnessed the Niagara Falls of rainstorms/thunderstorms... Austin lives in Nashville, where I'm guessing their weather is very similar to the Raleigh, NC area in the deluge type of storms. It very likely *was* one of those downpours, tbh. Couldn't even see the next door neighbor's house (which is pretty close) at one point, the rain was coming down so hard. Great reaction, SauceyDad! Home Free released it last year specifically for mental health awareness.
