Saudi Arabia Opens to the Turkish World:
🔸Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman (Minister of Energy and #MBS's brother) said at the International Investment Forum in Tashkent a few days ago:
"We are proud of our ethnic diversity in Saudi Arabia. We have people of Uzbek origin and they are good Saudi citizens.
- Many of those who emigrated during the Bolshevik Revolution arrived to protect their honor, religion and culture. I must admit that most of them became citizens and some of them were involved even in the establishment of the Saudi army. We are grateful for their valuable work.
👨👦My uncle Mukhtar Turkestani was one of the first fighter pilots of the Saudi army, may God rest his soul."
🔸Some Turks went directly from Central Asia to the Arab World. This migration started during the Abbasid period and continued during the Ottoman period.
🔸Uzbek Turks were leading this migration. We noticed that there are Uzbeks in Saudi Arabia. There is the Uzbekia square in Egypt, you can find the surnames such as Bukhari and Fergani in Algeria and even Africa. The Uzbek Lodge in Istanbul, Uzbek villages in Anatolia.
🔸There is also an Uzbek Village in our Sakarya Geyve.
🔸We already know that there are over a million Turkmens living in the Arab World.
🔸In conclusion, the brotherhood of Turkish and Arab people goes back thousands of years.
