Sausage gravy
1 pound breakfast sausage, hot or mild
1/3 cup flour all purpose or self rising doesn’t matter
3 to 4 cups milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook sausage in skillet don’t drain any grease add 1/3 cup flour to the cooked sausage and mix it real good and cook for a couple of minutes, stir in about 2 cups milk to begin with, stir it constantly until it thickens add more milk to get it to the thickness you like , add salt and pepper. It will thicken up more when you take it off the heat.
