I've been wanting to visit Savannah since COVID shut down international borders and my family and I were forced to shift our focus to domestic destinations. Savannah continuously came up in searches of top tourist destinations for the States with its state of the art cuisine, historic antebellum architecture and southern charm and of course those incredible Spanish moss-draped oak trees. My Firm took our annual retreat and we decided to venture to Savannah and finally experience this jewel of the South. My stomach was excited to take in all that the city had to offer and our first reservation was for Elizabeth on 37th. Elizabeth on 37th had great reviews and is known for its "final coastal cuisine" in the backdrop of a 1900s era mansion. Sadly, the beautiful and ornate surroundings could not overcome the disappointing and lackluster food service and I might have experienced one of the worst meals of my life at Elizabeth on 37th.
