Great Video.Whenever i play i get chipped sometimes which is an annoying thing.Also another thing to point out about the chip,when the ball is in the air,run sideways because you get more distance while running and also gives you the chance to jump to the ball and get it out of your net however this can also cause a rebound which if you react quick enough you might just be able to save them🧤

I also didn't have gloves until 2 months ago or so, I used to practice with bare hand, yes I got hurt, but you don't need gloves, if you're that passionate about something, you'd do anything for it

most budget globes wont protect you anyway, but i don’t recommend playing without gloves. i got injured 3 TIMES in only the timespan of 6 months, guess what, one was with budget gloves, and the other 2 were when i was gloveless… it was broken, and it hurt like a truck. Im 6 months late so maybe you have gloves now but u do u. (im young as well)

Great stuff overall and I get what you are saying about dropping back But- I think it is generally a bad idea for a keeper to drop back (go backwards) on a 1v1 if the striker is inside the box. If you get caught out in “no man’s land” I would agree but good strikers will go hard and fast to goal if the keeper is backing up. The key is to be in a good position to begin with so you don’t have to back up.

No my apologies. Looking back at it I should have said this differently. What I meant was if you are outside the box, around 18 or penalty spot and the striker wins the ball higher up the pitch around the defensive line or gets on the end of a through ball outside the box. At this point if you can't sweep the ball you want to drop to your 6 yard line to prevent the chip from happening and to lure them in. Once they start to enter the box you come out towards them. Absolutely if it's in your own box then you realistically shouldn't go backwards unless your defenders came to deal with the striker. I hope this clears things up👍

Great vid but when they get past u or behind u how will u react to get the ball from behind u ?????
@OP1GK
5 ай бұрын
You never want to get into that situation. This means that if they do take that touch around you, you will need to dive/ smother parrying the ball way or getting the ball under control. You don't want to try to run back to get the ball as the attacker will get there quicker than you.

sometimes when I'm trying to set myself for 1v1, instead of receiving the breakaway situation, the striker just takes a shot outside the box and leads me less chances. Also what can i do if i get into a 1 vs 2 position or 2 vs 2 ???
@OP1GK
9 ай бұрын
You have to set for a shot and once the striker takes a touch into the box you slowly get lower down into that 1v1 set position slowly approaching the attacker, mimicking their movements. Defending a 2v1 can be very difficult and requires lots of patience and speed.

I had the same thing I got knocked out before but I'm not sure I just kept playing the same way. You have to be brave and usually you get kicked because your technique is off.
