We used to do whole chicken all the time. That and drumsticks because they are consistently on sale for 59 cents a lb. But since we learned we could shop at the The Restaurant Depot, we buy 40 lbs at a time of boneless skinless thighs for between $1.40 and $1.70 per pound. We freeze it and that lasts our household of 10 a month.

@@budgetwithem23 I love Restaurant Depot. They have beautiful produce and proteins. Sadly, my closest Restaurant Depot is 75 miles away and I no longer have a deep freeze. I used to get 30# of chicken from a Co-op. I’d can some of it and freeze some of it. It was wonderful! Keep up the good work my friend! 🥰🤗

Great video ❤I always keep an eye out for when the whole chicken go on sale or when they discount wings or legs. You can usually find great deals. Or at the least pick up a Costco chicken for $6. And shread it up and freeze it. I'm single so it gose a long way. I also save the carcass to make crook pot broth.

Cooking for one or two is definitely a challenge. I made soup with the back just for the two of us. Great tips my friend!! 🥰🤗
