@@Seeker7257 It is so necessary for this kid to learn it as early as possible. If this is their house with a pool then it’s even more necessary. Natural bodies of water you aren’t at every single day, but a backyard pool at your own home kills more children a year than you’d think. If the kid plays in the backyard then there is always the possibility of him ending up in the pool and it’s so necessary to teach them young for that scenario.

@Dil7 you are absolutely right. I did neglect to mention he was reaching for his father's arms. But the reason I chose not to bring it up was because this wasn't the first time he has done it. @@high_wave6483 Yes the boy expected to grab his fathers or instructors hand, but if you watch, as he did it he was already spinning himself around to float as seen the last time. Swimming lessons are probably one of the hardest/scariest things for parents. It sucks to watch your child be scared and tired, but it also sucks seeing news articles about children drowning because they weren’t aware of the dangers that come with deep water. While taking a CPR class, the instructor said something that really stuck in my head. "It's better to do compressions too hard than not hard enough. A person can survive broken ribs but you can't bring them back from the dead.". I have two little kids and every time the cough cuz something goes down the wrong pipe, I think about that saying. Luckily I've never had to do CPR on either of my kids but if I do, I won't be scared to break ribs.

I taught by two sons to swim from about toddler age when they could really listen, by the time they got to 6 they could tread water for 20 minutes without trying, they knew how to float and skull(sp?) on their back and i was happy then, because i knew that would never drown, then started the underwater stuff. And all because i wasn't taught until i drowned on holiday when i was 8.

In America we have that problem. So yes, it’s important to reach our kids gun safety. We all have them so it’s important for us to reach them how to be safe around them. Just like we would teach them about knives or fire. We teach our children how to be safe around all tools in the household. I’m assuming that either you guys aren’t smart enough to do that or your country sucks and if and when everything goes to shit, you guys will be the first ones robbed and killed. Good luck with your slingshots and bows. Because we know damn well you know nothing about guns. In case you haven’t noticed, eve try country in the world has guns. When the people with the guns turn on you and your children it’ll be easy pickings. You’re all gonna panic. You know jack shit about something the entire world utilizes to terrorize each other.
