Pray to who. If it's the European Christian god then you are wasting your time. If it's the Arab god of the Muslims you are also wasting your time. There are African herbs, teas, leaves, roots and plants that one can eat to stop addiction immediately. You don't know that Mother Nature is the greatest healer??? Instead, you run to these foreign gods of your enemies and you take their medicines 💊 and pills that make you sick, co-dependant and make you into another drug dependant addict. Wake up Africans! Their gods are NOT our gods. Go back to communicating with your ancestors. That's why they taught us NOT to communicate with our ancestors. But some of you are TOO foolish to see the Christian/Muslim lies to pray to their gods🤔🙄

This documentary has taken me back to 2017 when my brother hit rock bottom after a combination of drugs and hopelessness. It is now 2 years since he went to rehab, he has been able to fight the addiction. The problem with drug abuse is that it takes one wrong decision, one wrong crowd, for someone to slip into the destructive habit. There is also a fear of relapse if the drug survivor faces challenges that they can't cope with through force of will. Drugs are destroying young men, and women, in Africa.

It breaks my heart to see my friends in the streets everyday. I tried helping but they are not yet ready. I have lost a lot of close friends to Nyaope. How many good guys do you know who have fallen victim to this drug? It really sadness me that some talents and hopes were killed because of this drug. Who do we have to blame? Soon as I was thinking, “that man is trying to enjoy his high, he’s not trying to talk seriously!” He said I don’t even want to talk about it... I grew up around many people that used drugs, my father began using drugs in Vietnam. He said they would want them high to fight and stay awake! To this day he is still using drugs. I don’t have a relationship with him nor do I want one. I never once said let me try that... It had the opposite effect... I have never drank or used drugs... I’m thankful and joyful to the Lord and the universe that I never had a desire to use drugs to solve or forget problems, to fit in, or just to see how it would make me feel... I would always say I’m way to beautiful to use drugs! I feel empathy for those who are weak and turn to drugs for whatever reason or can’t stop... One thing for sure it you know someone is using drugs don’t treat them bad ... don’t give them yet another excuse to use. If you can’t help leave them be and love them from a distance.

I wonder if the policemen take bribes whole in duty and get dubbel paid? Government has to create jobbs so that people can survive and all children must go to school. In most wealthy countries children do not ware uniform and school material is borrowed from each other. Make education be free so that people can develop the country. This is painful and I am angry!

@@keefeasy2516 Didn't you watch "My Neighbor the Rapist? " done by the same journalist? My comment might be hash but its the plain truth. I don't disapprove the problem does exist in 3rd world countries.. but how this journalist credibility is questionable.. You can't make a first impression twice. He was charged of paying peeto act in his reports and when he was questioned he brushed them off. This might be my opinion, i trust the story can be true but the journalists is a NO for me.

One word guys “Choices”. Unless any of the addicts were forced into it, the sole blame lies on themselves

It's their choice to buy the drug, it's not their choice once they become addicted. Drugs are just the solution to the problem, it's not their fault that they are in a bad situation, it could be financial, mental health or personal. Can you really blame someone who's in so much pain that abusing substance is only thing that makes them feel better

A great production and truly an eye opening documentary about the use of the illigitimate use of Nyaope. Lets pray for an end to police corruptìon and more awareness and practical help is given to these poor lost souls that have become addicted.
