Hey y'all,
I am so frustrated with myself right now because I feel like I knew better but decided to ignore myself.
I went to go move my Philo Snowdrift yesterday and it was caked in some sort of sticky white material around the top of the soil. It literally looked like webbing. I checked or over, and my other plants over, really well. No signs of spider mites. I threw out all of the old soil and washed the plant and roots and trimmed em up.
I got these a month ago from Kroger. The one with the white leaf was actually my anniversary gift from my husband. The other was on last chance sale.
It's funny, I feel like every Philo I have gotten has been a rescue. I don't think the pot I have it in is going to work long term so I am going to be looking at orchid pot options for them as I would swear by how well my other two are doing in them.
I'm no expert at this, but I figure we can all learn together. I'll post updates in my shorts until its time to go back into the roots.
Wish me luck!
And if you have any pointers- leave em in the comments below.
