Had the bag. Great quality. With 25 pounds and a 6 mile hike, no complaints. With 35 pounds and a 6 mile hike, nothing but pain in the shoulders. I tried adjustments. Nothing changed. Based on other reviews, I thought the pack would be comfortable. I am in good shape. Yet, I was disappointed in myself and the pack. I had to return the pack.

I never had my hands on a savotta pack but I reckon one size fits all does indeed not fit everybody. I would like to try one but that's the reason I never bought one because returning a bag that was out in the wild is pretty much impossible where I live.

@@DerUnbbekante It seems only the XL pack was adjustable for torso height. The pack was had such incredibly high quality. Perhaps the pack will get an upgrade for fit in the future. Be well!

@@1024Pete The L is somewhat adjustable torso height wise. The waist belt is attached on 2 PALS row, and this can be moved up and down to adjust a couple centimeters. This can be seen in Savotta's video about adjusting the pack : kzitem.info/news/bejne/sqeLsJtvpXynhmk Cheers

Savotta packs are great quality, but the problem is, they do not have functional load lifting straps. The lack of load lifters is the reason for the pain under heavy load; weight of the pack isn't being transferred off the shoulders and on to the belt/hips.

@@fox2 Agree. That is why I had to change. Too bad. It was a really well made pack.

Great video! Glad to see the pack in action with additional bags hooked on. 4-5 miles... nice! How heavy and was it comfortable? Would you modify it in any way? Looking to grab one and do the same hip pack mods + 12L on the sides & daypack on the back for longer treks. Keep crushing it

Looks like you found the video on the update on the bag. I got more vids coming eventually. It was great. The padding makes it wear like a dream. Wasn’t heavy but I think I need to buy a scale to weight outs and see how much I’m actually hauling. I’m slowly adding to my kit. Day pack on the back? I haven’t thought of that. I eventually got some pouches on it. I’ll put that video out soon. I might try the day pouch on the outside. It looks like it would take the clips. I feel like I can use the room. 55L seems to fill quickly.
