That looks like such a beautiful place to visit. I love little outtings like this because sometimes the crowds can be too much for kiddos or elderly or even just older parentals. 😊

I visited Sawara in 2019 through a free layover tour program that Narita Airport offers with volunteer guides. It was a great way to see the town for someone who doesn’t speak any Japanese.
