I love it when someone gets some good boards from a rotten log instead of turning it into firewood.

My tree service guy just dumped a load of semi rotten male, hopefully I get some decent boards, Good video Dave. Planning some 16 inch pine , what a nice drying summer it was.

That log looks about like the ones I’ve been milling up lately… 😂 but sometimes they will surprise you what you can get out of them. Good job there Sir.

You got some nice boards from that junk log and a little firewood too. Its just takes longer to look and turn and look some more and turn some more to get the best you can from a log like that. Brent
