Sayed Jamaluddin Mosque or Sayad Jamaluddin Masjid, Adi-Saptagram, Hoogly
Sayed Jamaluddin Mosque is a heritage and former mosque of West Bengal situated at Saptagram beside the Saraswati river in Hooghly district. Sayed Jamaluddin’s Mosque is the only surviving monument from the Hussain Shahi period when Saptagram was a flourishing port and mint town. The last surviving witness of the glory days of this erstwhile capital of southern Bengal, Sayed Jamaluddin’s mosque is also a fine example of that phenomenon unique to Bengal terracotta mosque.
It's a good place for one day trip. you can visit near by attention like Mayur Mahal Park, Hanseswary Temple, Zafar Khan Ghazi Masjid, Lahiri babar Ashram etc.
