In my experience if the 240 made more power on 1lb less boost (his 29 lbs vs ur 30 lbs) then his motor probably makes more power NA than yours as well. Boost is just a multiplier of the power u would make NA. I understand turbo/AR efficiency plays a big roll in that as well drive train loss on a chassis dyno. But honestly to compare apples to apples the turbos would need to be ran on the same engine in the same chassis while monitoring boost and back pressure. Either way man, good numbers for a thrown together turd of a motor. Nice job.

So far from what I've seen the large frame turbos from vsracing are pretty badass. I wouldn't be surprised if the GT55 style 94/113 makes WAY more than the S400 style 92/110.

Geesh .... apples to oranges but my gen 2 coyote makes 700 wheel on 8psi with 6r80 6spd auto. Ls takes some boost to make power..

Well you can’t find a coyote for 400 bucks like you can a 5.3 😂 can’t beat the LS for cost efficiency, can’t beat the coyote for massive horsepower production.

@@boostinbo yea tough to tell sometimes, I bet most people here are like Matt happels crowd, numbers and info people. I’m curious on the timing and what that looks like to keep these motors alive at higher boost. I’ve tuned my car up to 22psi but kinda lost on what to do with spark 27psi range and up
@boostinbo

Really depends on the combo and goals but I've had some decent luck with these motors for the most part. Just keep it safe through the danger zone and don't get greedy with timing. Learn how to read plugs. Best thing I ever started doing was reading plugs.
