I had a whole different plan.
As I worked this out in composition and part writing goals ~ with an ascending scale rising, and then a descending scale over eight measures; I wanted •three notes chord shapes• in the right hand, and a good working bass line -~ with relatively decent part writing in harmonization; along with chord analysis.
For eight measures of music ~ I feel quite good about this for what it is… and what I wanted to accomplish.
(note the three different parts: of scale/ 3 note right hand chords/ and left-hand bass line).
For the future, perhaps:
Putting it in all 12 keys could be very useful in learning about harmony and in key sensibility skills.
Assigning chord type has limitations within the iPad music writing program that I have.
How classical players write out chord analysis; how jazz players or fake books -or guitar tabs write out chord analysis is different as well.
It seems as if it were important for musicians who want to be fluid in their music chord analysis understanding ~ is to understand the pros and cons of different styles of chord analysis.
Also, I am a fan of “movable do”
because “stationary do” is just another consideration of A, B, C, D, E, F, G note names and seems redundant (in my opinion)
