I am really glad you enjoyed it. I am moving into a longer format, more relaxed but still fast paced style. I think, at least :D And doing less commentary. I hope it improves the videos and invites an audience with a longer attention span.

Interesting that you use such detailed plans. I typically design to a point where I have a good idea of structure, but let the details evolve in the shop...especially since targets change as wood has to be milled flat, often resulting in an unknown final size, so that the plans become "approximate". Oddly, I am drawing out a Scandinavian inspired bar at the moment. I have to find a way to make it work with solid wood as I rarely work with plywood products.

I was using this project to learn Fusion 360. While the learning curve is somewhat steeper than in Sketchup I was able to get drawings from it and then measurements. They have been really helpful. However, after the fact most of my measurements are relative. The width between the face and the tenon was supposed to be 8mm but ended up at 7,9mm. Now this is miniscule, I know, but since I used the same referance face all the reveals are the same. Same with the stop block metohod. Also, when measuring for the lengt of the inner structure the relative measurements are not good enough as the structure is not ridgid without the inner structure. In the future I hope to make less detailed plans, but for now I chose to do it like this. You are far more experienced than me, so I guess you don't have to plan as much in detail. I have been thinking about learning to veneer. That bar project sounds like a perfect veneering project. Cheers and thanks for watching.

@@NomadMakes 360 is an impressive tool. I really like it, but yes tough to transition from Sketchup. I typically only really care about stile and rail lengths to set the overall dimensions. Once they are cut, all else is relative.

Question: what are you using to lubricate your whetstone? Is it the fancy lapping fluid or have you found a cheaper alternative?
@NomadMakes

For the stone or the diamond plate? For the stone i just use water, but for the diamond plate I have some lapping fluid that come wth the plate. However, a cheaper and excellent solution is a normal glass cleaner. You can add a drop of detergent if it sticks to the plate. Nice of you to stop by again, mate! All or love from us to you and yours. Cheers.

Nice one! Quick question - Where did you get your Whet stones? Looks interesting!

Thank you! I got the King Stone off Amazon and the Trend Diamond plate off eBay. However, there is an overlap between the grits. The Trend being 300/1000 and the King 1000/6000. So I suggest going for a different grit progression. If you are i Norway there is a guy selling whetstones on Finn.no with this code: 194982257 I have not tried them though.
