They also think that it would be totally normal for a girl to meet up ALONE with 6 other guys in a room and take alcohol and drugs all day long until she faints. Then, of course, comes rape. A few weeks ago a 19 year old neighbor of mine was raped by a 46 year old who gave her so much alcohol that she passed out. Nowadays women don't understand that the more you meet men, the less interest men have in building a family with this woman. why? there are millions of women, why take the one who has had 300 others before and would do it again at any time? As a man, I also have to follow rules in order to be able to be with a woman, right? The worst thing a woman can do is have more than 2 men in her life. this leads to disinterest in men. This video is really interesting bc when I was like 4-6 years old my mom regularly locked me in the dark bathroom and told me there is something that wants to kill me and I had to beg to get out when I cried. It was probably only 2 minutes but it felt like 15+ and I later on had been to multiple mental health hospitals bc I started to have a big fear of the dark, but also couldn't sit on a toilet anymore without fear and couldn't look into mirrors or even being left alone. It's better now after like 15 years but it's still crazy that people experience worse and are most likely not so lucky "keeping their sanity" or even life... (I told this story not because I want to make this about myself or competing or whatsover, but because I want to also explain that already the lowest exposure of ANY kind of abuse, even when it's not physically hitting a child, can cause extreme longterm damage even for just a short amount of time as like 2 minutes every day as a way of punishment)
@kicou88

I hope you are better now and found good people to support you when you are feeling down. I really don't understand how can someone come with the idea of locking kids into a closet as a way of punishment. This is torture! It's so obvious that it's going to traumatize the child! You don't punish kids by frightening them you explain to them what they did was wrong and maybe take their toys or something but never beat them or lock them in a dark room. I'm so sorry to know it did and does damage you so much and I don't want to provoke you in any way but I can't help myself in telling you what I feel. I believe that there really was "something" wanting to kill you, and that is, your mother herself. Your retelling immediately made me realize perhaps it was not punishment, she was locking you up because she was feeling some compulsion of hurting you or worse. She needed those 2 minutes to gather her shit together to go on. Of course it was not your fault and perhaps it was not personal, some women just can't be good, or so good, as mothers as others, perhaps she was in a dark place, perhaps she did have untreated post partum depression, I guess, of course I don't know. Just saying. Throwing around possibilities. Did it ever occur to you? as a possibility? or perhaps your personality was really the cause, I don't know about that too. I only cannot grasp why she couldn't leave the light on.

Well, during the 19th centuary a lot of stuff was achieved in the medical sector thanks to the at times horrific use of orphans, which had no rights in most countries arround the world at that time period. For instance, the smallpox vaccine was brought to America by bringing 22 orphans onto a ship and infecting them one after another with the virus, since due to a lack of cooling devices the vaccine wouldn't have survived the two months long journey over the Atlantic. Though it might sound horrible, this saved a tremendous amount of human lives back then. I'm not saying that I'm totally fine with such incidents, but at the same time our morals often tend to stand in the way of the greater good.

As a person, that when I was a child was frequently locked in a closet when punished…. It’s all true. Even just days can make you mentally messed up. All I had was my imagination. I could hear outside the closet of course, but I was starved, often tied up so I couldn’t kick the door. If I made lots of noise from fighting my stepdad so he wouldn’t do something bad to me. I never hated the closet. Even now, I don’t hate it. It often was the only option I had to not be abused more. I do fear it, I have dreams that My life is only I delusion and I’m still in the closet. It can really really mess you up. I have severe ptsd and epilepsy now. I do believe if I wasn’t abused I would probably be healthy and normal like any other person. Most people don’t realize how great they have it. Being alone for a long time with no water, food or bathroom, only light by the seems of the door but other than that it’s pitch black. Honestly hearing the people outside the closet is still very awful…. Fearing them coming for you….holding your breath and trying to not move so they don’t notice you and want to come and beat you for not obeying there will. or hearing him hurt the rest of your family….. most people don’t realize how great they have it. Luckily I’m now older and safe but I do wish god hit him with a lightning bolt ⚡️ but I guess not all wishes become true!

Ikr the whole time I was thinking about how I'm literally always home and I love my room to be dark even in the daytime. I guess the only difference is that my room is a decent size and I live in an extended home so I dont necessarily lack communication with others but I do shut them out sometimes and would just watch anime or some other tv show if I'm not on social media. The only time I would leave my room is if I'm going to get something to eat or use the bathroom or my part time job. But other than that I kinda like being in the dark lol but based off of this video I'm starting to think that maybe that's why I have anxiety and is also socially awkward🤔.

I remember playing hide and seek once at a large camp, it was a staff hunt where all the campers would be the seekers and the staff, around 20 of us would hide. I was hiding in a pitch black closet and there was no sound or light (and they take your phones away during the day). After a while my ears started to ring and my eyes started shifting with color. Idk how long I was in there but near the end I started getting the feeling I was being watched or that the dark around me was an actual entity. When I was found it was probably one of the most terrifying feelings I've felt in a long time. It was kind of like thunder rolling when all the kids started running through the halls screaming about where to look. I distinctly remember trembling the whole time, fear just eating me from the inside out. I think I was in there for roughly an hour or two, I'm not sure. Solitude has never really been an issue for me and I'm comfortable enough with silence that it also doesn't bother me, but the dark has always scared me. Just not knowing how far it goes or whats in it is terrifying.

Idk why people enjoy playing hide and seek. I always hated it because it made me feel like I'm a prey. I don't like looking for people too because I suck at it. I would dread everytime my siblings want to play hide and seek with me.

I feel damn sad for those that were put into these conditions unwillingly. I do also admit. Ive also wanted to be a participant in those experiments about living in a cave house thing that only have a certain amount of low light, no clocks, and only books for entertainment. I genuinely think it would be very fun to be a part of an experiment like that.

First immediately thought, “oh, someone who is talking about the actual truth of meth addiction and the damage that is caused by it’s use to the user and their environment - people included who don’t use” Then I read the description and read. I remember a similar thing called “oubliette”. Only difference was with what you are talking about, the prisoners get released - with the oubliette, they are forgotten and left to die. Middle Ages were something else, right?

I have some extreme anxiety issues and I’m bipolar. I already isolate myself and my brain is like a computer with 50 windows open at once all the time. There IS no silence! EVER! Plus I’m an artist. So yeah, I don’t think this would be an issue. My brain would find ways to entertain itself. It always does. Unfortunately it usually tries to do it while I’m sleeping because, I don’t know, I guess it’s bored or something.

The before photos are not of Blanche. At least one of them is of an actress named Maude Fealy, you can look her up and find dozens of photos of her. The second photo (the one at 4:11) was taken sometime in the Edwardian era, 20-30 years after she disappeared. Any real photos of Blanche Monnier would have looked more like stiff Victorian portraits.
